I really appreciate WNC Ceramic Tiles. They have always been very helpful and patient with me. They don’t require an appointment (the other places in AVL did) and they have an enormous selection. Their prices are fair. Communication with staff is excellent.

Such an awful experience here, which was very sad, since we had heard this is “the place” to get tile. My husband and I were not initially greeted when walking in but were eventually approached by an employee. I understand that a sample of a tile does not have the same look once all the tile has been laid out side by side by side. So, I asked if they had any magazines, images, or computer-generated images they could show us, so we would know what the tiles would look like once installed. (A lot of different tile websites offer a generator for this.) To which we were told no, that if we wanted something like that, we would have to go to the individual supplier website to see if they had anything like that. (They have many different suppliers.) Not only was this very unfortunate, but also seems to be a serious need lacking for a huge tile business. The last thing I want to do is choose a sample that looks good on its own, but horrible when there are so many together. I don’t want to spend a bunch of money to find out that I ultimately don’t like something. Eventually I tried to do what he suggested and look up a supplier that I liked, but unfortunately, I had no internet reception there. So I went to the front desk to ask if they had a password for their wi-fi. There were FOUR employees at the front desk. One was helping a customer, one was in a separate office, and the other two ladies just chose to completely ignore me for whatever reason. I decided to wait patiently and while I did, I searched their wall for the password, as I know sometimes businesses will post their password. However, their wall is FULL of all kinds of things, that I did not see one. So I said excuse me to one woman. *Again*, I was ignored. So I said again louder: “Excuse me.” And finally, the different woman acknowledged me. I asked if they had a wi-Fi password, and with a very annoyed look, she simply pointed to it and walked away! Didn’t even ask if that was all I needed. No smile, no kindness. Just annoyed that I asked because I didn’t see it. Of course she knows exactly where it is! She works there and sees it every day! She doesn’t have to be annoyed with me because I asked such a simple question. I was a customer, and we were ready to buy that day! That was the last straw for me, and we left and ended up going to Lowe’s and buying from there instead. (They were *so much more helpful!*) Wish I could have saved myself the HOUR trip it took us to get there! We will NEVER go back (unless its bought by someone else) nor will I ever be recommending these people. 🙁

WNC, ceramic employees were very personable very knowledgeable, and went out of their way to help me with a situation. I would recommend this company with high standards to anyone.
