Brendan did an excellent job of designing my new kitchen, the crew was punctual and diligent, they finished two weeks ahead of schedule, and the work is beautiful. Plus, they got me interest free financing for three full years. Great guys, great work, excellent to work with, absolutely trustworthy fantastic end result.

After much consideration I hired Rochester Flooring Kitchen & Bath to do the majority of a project to replace all of the flooring in my home. I am very happy that I went with RFK&B! A key difference between RFK&B and their competitors is that they work with you. They are flexible. When problems are encountered they work with you to find a solution you can be happy with. This could be cost, it could be unexpected technical problems, or any number of other things. I truly enjoyed working with their sales team and every single person who entered my home to do work.

Rochester Flooring, Kitchen, and Bath did an EXCELLENT job with our kitchen remodeling project. From the tome that we walked into the showroom through the final piece, ALL of their personal have been nothing less than courteous, professional, and knowledgeable about their products and our plan. Our Designer worked with us from the beginning to the very end. She added features that we had not thought of that have enhanced our space and improved the utilization of our limited space. Our Project Manager answered our questions throughout as we had never done this before. They set up a temporary counter and sink so that we could still use the kitchen while waiting on the final pieces to arrive. The workers – from tear out to final tile and plumbing hook ups – were polite, and they cleaned up after themselves each day. The electrician took more time because of another problem that arose. They know their jobs and their work is top quality. I have recommended Rochester Flooring, Kitchen, and Bath to others and I will continue to do so.

Very helpful and knowledgeable sales staff. Installers were super nice, neat and cleaned up after completion of the job. I would recommend Rochester flooring kitchen and bath and use them again.

The experience was good and the people were great – the cost however was steep. I really like that they offer Interior Designers as I don’t have a good eye for how to pull a room together. Gordon Hull, our interior designer, was wonderful and helped pick out materials that went together well. He spent a lot of time talking things through with us was willing to adjust as we shifted along the way. Gordon also did a great job helping us narrow down our options so we didn’t succumb to analysis paralysis. I couldn’t recommend him enough. When it came to the estimate, we were able to get it down to just under $16k for tile backsplash and 1 slab of quartz countertop (woof). Mind you to get the price down to $16K we had to do the removal of the previous tile and countertops ourselves and our kitchen is average sized, so we aren’t talking a ton of tile work. Jarred who did the templated the countertops was friendly and did a great job laying everything out for us. The LVT flooring in our kitchen and landing cost just under $5K for our average sized kitchen (again, woof). When giving the estimate the guy explained the layers in the kitchen flooring supporting the cost, however, we later learned our estimate and the work order only accounted for removing the top layer of flooring. As we discovered this mid-install, we asked Jason about tearing out the second layer. He said that it was doable, but it would add cost and not gain us anything. However, after seeing all the work complete, our stove is nowhere near close to flush with our new countertops, and it cannot be fixed due to the additional floor height from the 2nd layer. Aside from that, Jason, our installer was STELLAR. He went above and beyond, did a great job and was very friendly. He spent the most time with us as the flooring was the longest part of the project and he was non-stop working. His quality of work was top notch and he always took the time to explain where we were at. We like the look (all credit to Gordon), the people were great but man, did we pay for it. We were looking to get our bathroom done as well but ultimately decided the price tag was too steep.

I am disappointed with how my experience ended up. Mike in sales was knowledgeable and gave good advice. One red flag was that they wanted 100% payment before starting the job. The installation started well. However, communicating with the crew after that was frustrating with multiple phone calls. They dumped items in the Bagster in a way that the trash company could not collect it and that spilled trash on my lawn. I asked that the crew remedy that and they did not (I had to do it myself). They face-nailed some boards (!) and promised to putty in the holes. Still waiting for that. I have 3 boxes of extra floorboards sitting in my living room that I can’t carry to the basement by myself. The transitions shipment was delayed but 6 months later I am still waiting for a transition to come in, two to be nailed down, and one to be replaced. They installed a transition between my kitchen and bathroom that was too high so the door wouldn’t close. I called the crew and stopped in twice at the showroom to arrange for completion of the job, and the staff laughed because I want the bathroom door to close. Nothing like watching someone on the hopper while you’re cooking dinner I guess. I know there was a labor shortage and delays but I have been ghosted. This company was recommended by my realtor and I am very disappointed.
