Terrible experience! Job wasn’t finished attempted to put new floor over old. Supposed to be a 1 day job it’s been over a month. Brett never contacted me back. Today I was handed a bill for additional monies. There is subfloor still exposed. With all this it is clear I am being judged because of living in a Trailer House and as a woman. I was told that the flooring did not belong in a trailer.My husband had.to intervene because he couldn’t believe how they were handling the job.

John was helpful throughout the selection and buying process. He kept us up to date with information on when the time was coming in. He was kind, considerate, and he made it an enjoyable experience. I’d highly recommend John at Modern Tile for any of your flooring needs.

We were very pleased from our first visit in the store. Removal of the old and installation of of the new carpet was done at our convenience.

I am writing a review again because my several years old review no longer appears here. However, I no less dissatisfied and angry with the “service” that we received from Modern now than when they had our VCT floor installed 7 years ago. We spent $8000 on a toxic and hard to maintain VCT floor. I wanted marmoleum, but we could not afford it … except that I discovered during installation that we could have easily paid for the marmoleum tile and the third party installation with $8k, if Modern had not clicked the ticket several times over. Essentially they did nothing but hire the third party. They would not ever come out when I had complaints about the work. The chatty saleswoman happily cheated us out of a quality floor and added zero value. Modern has a lucrative business model that is good for them and terrible for the customer. Be more savvy than I was. I regret my choice every day when I walk on my floor.

Drove 45 mins only to have them close early and not care enough to change or post a sign! Very dissatisfied. Just lost a customer for 1500sf basement remodel!
