We have been happy customers of Apadana for 7 years and especially recently, as we just purchased a very large rug. This rug is beyond beautiful, attesting to Apadana’s great quality and selection. We needed the rug size changed, and that service was provided in house – you would never know there was a change, though, because the work was done so well. There is truly no competitor even close to Apadana.

I enjoy working with Mike Alidadi and the Apadana team. They have a splendid selection of carpets, great variation, fairly priced. Mike has a good eye, and is able to intuit what would work in a given space. My go-to resource for carpets.

We bought 3 carpets from Apadana and love them all. Salesmen and owner spent a lot of time with us to understand our home’s configuration, colors, foot traffic and lighting and suggestions were on point and practical. Also the offered prices are incredibly low for quality of carpets and service. We recommend Apadana to all.

Michael Apadana has been my personal and professional “antique rug man” since 2004. In my 43 years as an interior designer, the last 19 have been the most satisfying when it comes to dealing with antique rugs. Michael is the most knowledgeable dealer I have met. Originally from Turkey, he is an expert in rugs from all around the world. At the same time, he is kind, respectful and 100% honest – a true professional – the real deal. Most important to me as a client, is Michael’s ability to listen to me describe the look and feeling I want to create and instantly direct me to the type of rug he thinks would embody it. If his vision is a bit off from mine, we can easily pivot and find the perfect fit. He is truly an artist. A couple of years ago we bought some antic Persian rugs from Apadana and Mike treated us very well. Besides the great choices Apadane can offer, we have been pleased by the professional services and advice. Lately we needed an oversize antic Persian rug, and we went back to Apadana, just to find out that they moved to a very nice location in Norwalk. Mike recognized us immediately once we entered the showroom and treated us again very well. Mike showed us a very nice selection of rugs from different origine and prices, all of very good quality. Buying a rug that will stay with you for many years needs to be a memorable moment, and Apadana can make it happen!
