We went to Mike’s Floor Covering for Vinyl Plank Flooring. Their showroom has a wide variety of product and colors. Mike and his wife Lisa are absolutely amazing, seriously have never worked with a kinder, more professional team and we LOVE to support local businesses. They met our every request. Mike and his crew installed our flooring as soon as they received it. It looks beautiful. They were very respectful, neat, and clean. We highly recommend Mike’s Floor Covering. They were the only flooring store in Flagstaff that really took the time to work with us and answer all of our questions without making us feel awkward or uneducated-as this was our first time working with a flooring company. Super nice people and the only people we will be contacting for future flooring needs. Don’t hesitate- this is the team you want!

Mike recently completed a 2000 sf project in my home. He and Lisa were helpful and knowledgeable with each step of the process, from product selection to installation and cleanup. This is the second time Mike’s worked on a flooring project for me, and I have complete confidence in the quality of his work. This project went so smoothly, was completed on time, and every little detail was double checked. They’re a really nice team to work with!

My husband and I went into Mike’s floor covering show room and ordered outdoor carpeting. We were advised that should be in around July 24. We were told he would email an invoice that day. No invoice was emailed. Around July 24, I called Mike direct and asked about the carpet. He advised me it was not ready yet. We also asked for another invoice and advised Mike we did not get the first one. He advised that he would email the invoice that evening, no invoice was received. About two weeks ago we received a call from Mike saying that the carpet was ready and his workers would be coming to our property to lay the carpet. The gentleman came leave the carpet and we were very dissatisfied. There were pieces laid instead of a one solid piece of carpet on our deck. There were also seams that did not match up. Mike called us. We expressed this concern and he said he would be out that day after 5 o’clock. Mike sent his guys out to address the concerns and did the best they could, and explained there’s nothing they could do for the seams because there was not enough carpet and Mike was a no-show. My husband spoke with Mike in regards to the issue and asked Mike to come and look at the carpet. Mike came and looked at the carpet and had an excuse after excuse. He told my husband well your outdoor couch covers the area with the patched pieces of carpet. He even made comments about my husband not paying for it and there would be consequences. We never said anything to the fact of not paying, we just want a job done correctly. We should’ve taken the sign of the inappropriate customer service of not sending sending the invoice that same night, not showing up at 5 o’clock when he said he would to look at the work, and to unprofessionally assume my husband and I were not paying for it. Buyer beware this gentleman has terrible customer service, and delivers a poorly applied product for outdoor carpeting. All we asked for was a job to be completed correctly with no seems, and no Patchwork. We purchased this carpet about two weeks ago, August 2023.
