Looks like this company is really hit or miss. Lots of great reviews from people who liked their service and unfortunately a good number like myself who couldn’t even get a quote. The showroom is very nice and the salespeople are friendly and knowledgeable. However, in my case, things just didn’t work out. Sarah came out for a measurement and everything seemed to go well and she said she would get back to me with a quote the next day. Well, after two days I emailed her with no response then I called the following day and still no response. It seems they don’t want or need my business.

I love my soft and beautiful new bedroom carpet! Olivia kindly and patiently showed me several options at the store. Then she brought samples and expertly designed the installation at my home. The carpet installers were timely, polite, and experienced. When a manufacturing defect revealed itself afterwards, Olivia and Matt responded quickly, and impressively replaced the entire carpet. Very happy.

Sarah and her team assisted me with a warranty issue and made the situation smooth and easy. The carpet installers were amazing, and I am so appreciative of the care they took in moving my furniture. They took extra care and allowed me to measure areas where the furniture needed to be placed and clean the baseboards where you can never get to. Sarah went the extra mile with the carpet company to ensure the warranty was honored. I highly recommend Uptight Carpet and Decorating and will be reaching out when it’s time to upgrade my countertops.

Had detailed written quote from a competitor to build off of. While building a new quote with uptight, sales guy downgraded the carpet padding to basic padding, even though we had talked about premium padding. Also has a very noticeable 2 to 3 inch wide dip running the length of the master bedroom where the carpet is joined, due to size of the room. Came out and said it was “normal”. Regret going with this company.

I contacted Sarah at uptight late one afternoon because I was looking to install new my rental home, but I only had a 10 day window. I heard back from her later that day after closing time with an estimate, she was measuring the home 1 day after the tenant moved out and had all new carpet installed on time. I am not only satisfied with the service I received I would use them for any upcoming carpet needs both in my rental homes and my own home. It’s so refreshing to have someone knowledgeable answer the phone and provide such personalized service.

The whole process from picking out the flooring to the installation was great. We would definitely recommend Uptight Carpet & Decorating Center.
