Writing this as I’m wait for the installers, who were an hour late, take forever to finish the install. The initial interaction with Gary was good. He was friendly and personable. He came out the same day I called him and gave us a quote. He said to call or text when we were ready, so that’s what I did. He set up the install for 2 days after I let him know we were ready for 9am. Day of, 930 rolls around and no one is here so I call and ask if we were still scheduled or if something had changed. Already upset because I had to leave work for this, and they are late, Gary says they are on the way and should be there shortly. When I asked if he knew a time he says, because of traffic I’m not sure but they should be there shortly. Another 30 minutes later and the installers show up. The carpet was darker than expected. The room needing carpet was a smaller room, 15×17, and when I looked out the window the carpet is rolled out in the middle of street and in 3 pieces? The installers were clearly having an issue with certain things which showed in their body language and their blank stares. The room getting carpet was pretty much a basic square with the exception of the fireplace. I feel like being an hour late is very unprofessional, especially when people leave their jobs for you to do yours and your late. The seam for the 3 pieces is very visible in my opinion, and the transition piece lots horrible. I feel like working on being more efficient and on time wouldn’t be a bad thing. Yes the carpet was on the cheaper side for a decent carpet, but the being an hour late and taking over 2 hours to install such a small space in ridiculous. Would not use again or recommend.

Gary and his crew always knock it out of the park. They have done at least 5-10 LVT/ carpet jobs for me over the years. They get everything done quickly and efficiently and there prices are very reasonable.

I read reviews and got multiple quotes, and I was very happy with the final result from Magic Carpet & Flooring. Had my whole home carpeted within 48 hours of my initial quote. There were a couple minor imperfections I noticed a month later, and Gary sent a couple guys to have it fixed the next day. I appreciated the straightforward business and quality install!

I have worked with Gary in the past and have had good experiences. This time I saw what all the other negative reviews have experienced. Gary came out and gave me a quote for gray carpet and gray LVP. When the installers arrived (an hour late) they had a thin brown speckled carpet. When I said that it was brown and not gray, which the installer agreed with, he called his boss who said no it’s gray, and we will be cancelling the install. So they brought me the wrong color, tried to convince me it was the right color then cancelled the whole order and install. What terrible customer service. When I called Gary to try to straighten it out he said he wasn’t interested in doing so. Very disappointed and will not be using or recommending this company any more! Please folks, you think it’s a great deal, but once something comes up that was their fault they act like little children who don’t get their way. Heed my warning do not use this company! The negative reviews are real!

There’s not much more I can say that hasn’t been said by all the other reviewers here, so I’ll just reiterate what’s already been said. Absolutely terrible work, can’t do simple repair jobs and refuse to fix their mistakes. It’s a shame the ratings can’t be set below 1 star. Needless to say, I wouldn’t use ‘Magic’ Carpet and Flooring again.
