After my dishwasher broke and completely flooded my downstairs during the middle of the night, I had to get 3 quotes to replace my hardwood floors. After researching and interviewing 3 flooring companies I settled on Sammer Hakim’s company, Flooring by Sammer. The decision to select him was a no brainer. He arrived at my house with his assistant to look at the floors and explain the process he would use while his assistant did all the measurements. He answered all my questions and was in and out in about 30 minutes and emailed the estimate to me later that day. The other 2 people I interviewed never came close. One person was at my house for over 2 hours and constantly pushed me to read more of their reviews. It was a sales pitch on steroids. She even went out to her car for a while and called her manager to talk numbers before giving me the estimate on the spot. That company was also the most expensive. The other company made me nervous the entire time I was talking to him. He could not provide a lot of details, didn’t have a business card, took days to provide an estimate and even longer to get it in writing. Here’s why my project went so well and why I am giving Sammer’s company a 5 star rating. High performing organizations are ALWAYS about the PEOPLE. (1) Sammer is great to work with. He is responsive, answered all my questions, and helped resolve problems when they occurred. He also worked with me to find just the right floor to replace my old one. (2) He hires great people to handle the day-to-day operation. His managers are mostly women who are smart, articulate, responsive and organized. This support team also deserves a 5 star rating. (3) The two men who actually did ALL the work on my floors were AMAZING. They have worked for Sammer for decades and are so skilled at what they do. They worked really hard each day and rarely took breaks. They cleaned up every day before they left and helped resolve several unanticipated problems along the way. It took them about 2 weeks to complete my floors and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Bottom line, I highly recommend Flooring by Sammer. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

One of the best in DFW! Their work is top notch, great communication and you can tell they actually care about their customers! Diana has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Excellent customer service, she always responds in a very timely manner and is very helpful! With a seemingly endless amount of flooring and remodeling companies in the area, I would make Flooring by Sammer your first call. Overall a great company to do business with!

Sammer’s crew was amazing. I had to have foundation work done on my house that involved taking up the flooring. The team found water underneath everything and what had started as taking up the floors temporarily and putting them back a few weeks later turned into a whole saga of foundation work, plumbing repairs, a sewer line replacement and on and on. I ended up having to replace all the flooring, and had Sammer’s crews do both the tiled and LVP areas. Sammer’s team was flexible as thing after thing went wrong and had to be fixed before the floors could go in. They always handled any set backs matter of factly and with kindness for the clear stress I was under (overall I was without floors from mid-December to late-April. I owe . . . So much money to plumbers right now. Thank goodness for financing plans). The crews were also very nice and efficient and just really good people. Ronnie, who did the tile work, is clearly just a really good dude. And he did beautiful work. The floors are now in and they are gorgeous. The team made sure we did the appropriate prep work to prevent any potential moisture issues (since that was obviously a problem before) and I am thrilled.

Sammer and his crew did an amazing job on our commercial flooring. The whole process was easy from start to finish. The product we ordered is beautiful, the crew worked efficiently and got both areas finished in one day. They moved furniture, removed old flooring, sealed the concrete, and installed the new flooring leaving no mess behind. I can’t say enough how nice it was to work with this company and how great their communication is.

We recently completed a master bathroom remodel with Flooring by Sammer – replaced a shower and tub with a large walk-in shower, replaced insulation/sheetrock throughout, replaced all flooring, and installed a heater exhaust fan and built/installed/painted a custom linen cabinet. Sammer was very responsive over email and text from the very first contact. He came out quickly and discussed options, had an estimate to us that evening, and was very patient in talking through different aspects of the project. Once we decided to move forward, Sammer’s team was always very organized and responsive. The text and email communication was very much appreciated – they would always address any/all questions that I had. The different workers that showed up for plumbing, electrical, paint, tile, etc. were all VERY professional and really great to work with. We had a couple design changes that came up during the course of the project and Sammer and his team were quick to provide suggestions, costs, and timing impacts. The project manager came out several times to check on progress and meet with us in-person to make sure we were happy and taken care of. We had a concern towards the end of the project where I thought there might be a leak – which there was NOT! – but I can’t express how pleased I was that Sammer and his staff responded SUPER fast and even opened back up the wall to ensure nothing was wrong. This project came about because of an in-wall leak due to shotty builder construction, so the prompt attention and seriousness given to my concern just increased my confidence in the work even more. We have already referred one neighbor to Flooring by Sammer and will continue to do so. We have our sights on a flooring project in the future, and will not hesitate to work with Sammer and team again. Thank you for our beautiful bathroom!

Sammer made my first flooring experience very easy. He gave me options and answered all my questions. Installers were super nice guys. Very professional and knowledgeable. I would have them back and highly recommend them

I can’t say enough about our positive experience with Sammer and his team. They did work in two of our bathrooms. One was a tub/shower conversion to a stand-up shower, and the other was a complete re-tile of a very old and worn out master shower. Both jobs far exceeded our expectations and we simply could not be happier with the finished product. On top of that, Sammer and his team including Diana and Ernesto were timely, professional, communicative, and incredibly easy to work with from start to finish. I never had a doubt that the job was going to get done right, on budget, and on time. We are simply thrilled with the quality and the result, and I would trust them in my home again without hesitation. They simply smashed the “my contractor is a nightmare” stereotype, and I am happy to recommend them to anyone looking for help with a bathroom project.

Such an incredible experience! I reached out to Sammer and he was out the next day to step in and give a quote to finish our floors as well as add wood floors to our guest bedroom. The team was out the next week to start and did an incredible job. They were so flexible and willing to work around everything I asked. I would definitely hire again!! Look no further! We asked Sammer to remodel two bathrooms for us. He and his team are very professional, responsive and prompt. Ernesto did an amazing work with the tub to shower conversion and the tile work. Through out the process everyone were very responsive to our questions and we felt very well taken care of. We will contact Sammer and his team for any future projects!
