Zinz Construction and Restoration 2 years agoIssue: gross negligence, poor quality, shoddy workmanship throughout, carelessness to the point of fraud. -from day one, poor communication and mistakes plagued the job site. -Numerous water issues arose from the construction process, including ignoring a live water drain that directed run off water into my new foundation, poor grading, no footer drains, forgetting that they laid drain pipes in the ground that directed water to original foundation, attaching new gutter drain to disconnected drain pipe, not investigating where the existing drain pipes lead, installing a water weeping system incorrectly that serves no purpose, improperly installing drip edge, allowing water to go behind gutter. -Installed porch roof with poor / careless methods using inappropriate fasteners, flashing over original siding, missing flashing, no ice & water shield, causing rain & ice to leak behind the porch roof and into basement. -tear off & replace roofing shingles- neglected to remove old flashing, neglected to install ice & rain guard and re-flashed right next to old, then screwed J-channel to flashing, creating a 3 inch gap behind the siding that allowed wind driven snow and rain behind flashing I have video of water & ice running behind the porch roof and onto the porch. created significant water issues in basement and allowing repeated water saturation of structural wood and sheathing. Zinz made an attempt to address some of the items above, but their remedies were dysfunctional. I will not allow them back on my property due to demonstrated incompetence from Zinz’s crew and their subs. There is a careless culture prevailing at this company. The owner never contacted me… ignoring this debacle completely.

Valhalla Construction LLC 5 months agoI’d give 100 stars if I could. Best contractor out there. Went above and beyond throughout the entire basement remodel. Extremely professional and quality work. They’re the only contractors I’ll use.

Couldn’t be more happy with how our kitchen and bathroom turned out. We will absolutely have Michael do more work at our house and will urge others to consider him, too.
