Chris at CNB did a GREAT job on the new floors in our home. We bought the place last August and knew we wanted to replace all of the carpet in the main floor and upstairs hallway and we’re aiming for hardwood. Chris gave quoted us a reasonable price, and then worked with us when we wanted to explore some limited patterning (a turn in the orientation of the planks upstairs, and an entry way ‘mandala’ both pictured). While he wasn’t able to perfectly match our yellowing existing wood floors in the bedrooms, (wouldn’t have wanted him too necessarily) he was able to match the existing heights exactly- no need for transitions in most cases!) He was even able to squeeze our job in while we were out of town (and before we had fully moved in) so the process was super smooth. We trusted him with a key to our new home while we were multiple states away and it couldn’t have worked out better. When he ran into issues under the stairway carpeting, he even called us up, and then paused the work of refinishing the stairs to make sure my wife and I both were able to put eyes on it before making a final decision. All in, I would absolutely recommend Chris for your future home hardwood flooring projects. His quote didn’t change throughout the process, he completed the job on time, the results of his work were beautiful (and will be for years to come), and he was worthy of our trust with our home while we were out of town.

Chris did a fantastic job on refinishing our oak floors. The previous owner installed carpet over the floor and left a layer of glue. I didn’t think it was possible to refinish the floor but he did it and they turned out beautifully. Thanks Chris for making our floors look so nice.

I also highly recommend CNB Hardwood Floors. He did an awesome job refinishing our floors in an older home, and installing new to match the old. He has extensive knowledge and experience working with hardwoods. His rates are reasonable. All work done himself.

Chris did a fantastic job, laying new flooring in our kitchen and refinishing the hardwoods throughout the house. I was particularly impressed with the high-quality job matching the existing wood in the living room with the new wood in the kitchen.
