These guys have changed their names from Chicago Platinum Painters to Chicago Epoxy Coating. You can read my review of them on Yelp under Chicago Platinum Painters. I see a few more bad reviews have popped up. The owner George painted my house in 2022 and did such a terrible job from lying about the paints he used ( he used cheap paint, but told me he was using Benjamin Moore Regal), damaged my hardwood floors, stole items from my house ( 8 brand new door mats ,etc). George painted an uneven, streaky, poor paint job especially on my ceilings and it was even worse in the basement. It was $11,000 down the drain. The most annoying thing is how childish he is in his long paragraph responses trying to make himself look better than the con artist he is.

Company went above and beyond to meet and exceed all of our expectations for our garage flooring upgrade. The color and workmanship were amazing. Seeing that this company is Veteran owned made the choice that much easier.

let me tell you about my experience with Chicago Epoxy Coatings. I decided to jazz up my garage floor with their Orbit blue flake epoxy, and man, did they deliver! My concrete was practically ancient, full of cracks, but these guys worked wonders, fixing it all up before laying down the epoxy. George was a gem, guiding me through the process with honesty and smarts, making it all super easy. I’d totally recommend them to anyone needing epoxy work done. The guys did epoxy in my basement we had old asbestos tiles/glue that had to be removed prior to the floors getting done. Instead of my wife and I having to move our heavy furniture boxes/storage items George & Patrick volunteered to move the heavier items for us which we really appreciated. They did a great job with the flake epoxy we wanted. Floors look a lot better and we can enjoy our basement. Planning on putting tv couches down there for sports and creating a man cave.

They did such a bad job at my restaurant with epoxy floor. There are wholes and potholes everywhere, uneven surfaces, scratches, finish is not clear and floor is all messed up. They did come back twice to fix it but they didn’t do anything, they just masked it with wavy finish and made bigger mass. They left place very dirty behind. And there is tripping hazard which we have to take care of now. Communication was very bad throughout the project and we were not informed how the project will be going. We made it very clear that was very important to us since other part of the restaurant was open for business. Would not recommend their services. Overall very unprofessional and disappointing experience. Project took months and my remodeling was postponed because of their lies and not showing up on time. Do yourself a favor and find better company for flooring. The most important thing – do not pay them in full until you inspect their work and make sure everything looks good.
