This is review is long overdue. We had a great experience with 50floors with our full house carpet installation. From the first visit by their Representative David Malkin till the final installation by Nery and his team, we couldn’t be happier. David explained to us everything in a great way. Everything was done just as told. Carpet quality is great. The installation team was very courteous with moving our furniture. I even found a small flaw in the finishing of the carpet and they came back the next day to fix it. So glad I went with 50floors instead of some other big name company. Highly recommend them.

TRULY EXCELLENT SERVICE, BEST PRICE! Kerry, the salesperson, and Wallace’s team of installers were a pleasure to work with. Truly. They know what they are doing, and I knew I had nothing to worry about. To be helpful to everybody, I will tell the whole story. The water heater burst and flooded the downstairs. Servpro did a great job at relieving that (that’s a specialty of theirs). However, do not use them for getting repairs done. They told me they could do the floors, too, but they are subcontractors, which always costs more. Then, at five till 5 PM the day before they were supposed to come and give me an estimate, they call me and tell me I have to sign a contract in order for them to give me the estimate. So, I questioned them, a few minutes more and I find out that if I signed that contract but don’t use them, I have to give them 20% of whatever their estimate was. That was a scammy tactic. So, I called 50 floors, next, as only they and one other company were answering phones after 5 PM. I easily made an appointment for the next day at 9 AM. Kerry, the salesperson, came to my house right on time and intelligently brought samples of all the different types of flooring offered. The second company I called didn’t bring samples and stated that they would bring me samples if I agreed on their price, which was not as intelligent a way to do it. Kerry was very good at explaining things and made an accurate diagram before offering me a price. Good method. It only takes an extra 5 minutes but is confidence building, too. She was very personable. I told her that as people do, I am getting estimates. She is intelligent. She told me that rather than having to go back-and-forth with calling managers, she’s just going to give me the best price she can give me. I know a lot of sales people may say that, but after meeting with the next person, I can tell you that she was speaking well. She gave me an extra discount. My floors would be $5200. Universal Property and Casualty Insurance was surprisingly excellent, too. They cut me a check to cover the floors and walls to put in the mail the day inspected. The adjuster was happy to do it. If I would have gone with the next floor company which came to give me an estimate, I would not have been able to afford this quality of fabricated wood planks, and there wouldn’t have been any money left for the walls. I would’ve had to fight the insurance company. If I would’ve gone with Servpro, they would’ve contracted out, and it would’ve been even more money. They were trying to convince me that they will go to the insurance company and get more money. So, 50 floors really helped me!!! The other floor company estimate guy came in with flip flops, no samples, and a much higher price for this level of quality flooring. Noticing the significant difference in price and the far more professional method of Kerry, I called her right back, and easy-peasy, I was ready to have new floors. We made a scheduled date, and like she said, the floors were replaced with 2 days of work. The installers were great! Wallace’s team certainly had an eye for detail and worked hard and efficiently. I wouldn’t have minded that tiny space where a wall protruded and things came together, but they noticed it worked to push the planks in perfectly! They did a good job of cleaning. The floor looks super. Everybody was very polite and friendly. What a relief!
