We recently worked with Steel’s on a floor refinishing project. The final product has gotten countless complements and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the way things turned out and the professionalism of their team. As a GC- I will definitely be using Steel’s for all of my future hardwood flooring needs.

I am in love with my new floors! Brian and Shawn (at Steel’s) were artists at their craft. They seamlessly integrated old and new hardwood floors, educating me along the way on proper care, maintenance, and color/finish choice. They made what could have been a chaotic process smooth and simple. I will always recommend this team.

Hire them! Seriously, these guys are fantastic. I am in Boulder and I had no idea who they were when my contractor recommended them. I asked a few people who had not heard of Steel’s. I was worried, but their salesman, Bill Palmer, was nice and super knowledgable so we went with them. They have been at our house for a week doing the floors for a major remodel. (We stripped the existed floors on our first floor and added wood floors to the rest, giving the whole first level wood floors. We also removed carpet on our staircase, in the main hall upstairs, and in the master bedroom.) I’m writing this review now because I think the timing matters. We are out of our house. They are right in the middle of everything. This job has disrupted our lives and our pets. We had to move into a short-term rental for two weeks. this is a huge investment for us and we really were gambling that their crew could do a great job, not just good enough because it will be there a long, long time. And man have they delivered! The staircase is gorgeous. Seriously, these guys could do the woodwork on a yacht! The fit of every piece of oak is perfect. The floors are level, really level. They’ve sanded and re-sanded until the wood is stunning even unfinished. It turns out their crew has been together forever, some over ten years, and they all love their boss and their job. We’ve dealt with them every day for a week. They are true craftsmen, very careful, and informative. I recommend them 100%. Redoing floors is an investment and we would use Steel’s again…in a heartbeat! If you have any doubt of the authenticity of this review ask them to give you my email and contact me directly. Bill Palmer, Bill Steel, and their team did an absolutely fantastic job helping us through the hardwood floor selection and installation process for our home. They gave us a detailed estimate, they were always timely in their communication, and they provided fantastic advice. I had an installation of new wood as well as refinishing of old flooring to match. My floors look amazing! I happen to be the pickiest person on the planet and I am very happy with the results of my project. To a person, from the beginning to the end of the project, every individual was professional, skilled and knowledgeable, and a complete gentleman. Do yourself a favor and just call them if you have wood flooring needs.

Can’t say enough good things about my experience with Steel’s. I had some questions regarding flooring install and they went above and beyond to answer ALL of my questions. A ton of knowledge, professional, showed up on time, and not wanting to oversell. Use these guys.

We wanted wood floors in our kitchen that needed to match existing wood on either side. Not only is it a perfect match, the boards are perfectly aligned. It looks amazing! Will definitely recommend Steel’s!

Great Company and Crew!! We are repeat customers of Steel’s Hardwood. They fixed a poor install job from a previous company at our home and our floors now look amazing. They were very knowledgeable, timely, responsive, and their quality of work is impressive. We then used them at our 2 rental properties – one a 1905 bungalow with unique floor design (looks new again). I highly recommend them!!
