Tony is absolutely amazing to work with. Super professional and does not oversell and guides in a very clear way. I found Tony to be extremely knowledgeable, honest, hard working and his team is par none. His team did a stellar job at our place to remove old water damaged natural wood (Oak) and place new engineered wood floor within a week. We’re all super pleased with him and the work Tony did. I’m going to recommend him to all the folks here and family and friends.

Tony did the hardwood flooring installation for our whole home. I got quotes from some of the stores around and Tony came up with the best price. Tony took extra care during installation and even taken care of every single detail, which otherwise I would have easily missed. Perfection is his key and he really care for his work and I highly recommend Total Hardwood Floors.

Tony is a floor artist. I wish we had found him first instead of our original flooring contractor. Our house was being remodeled in phases, and we hired Total Hardwood to do the last phase of our project, installing ~1400 sf of engineered wood over new and old subfloor, part of which wasn’t level. When he came to give us an estimate, he knew exactly why the first install was already squeaking, and recommended a different underlayment that was cheaper than the one we had. Getting the floor level between the new and old areas took more time than he thought, but he stuck to his estimate and didn’t charge us more. The floor came out amazing, you can’t see any transitions and the boards are solid. We still have the original install in a master closet and the difference between that and the rest of the house is night and day. They had to do some challenging precise cuts in the kitchen around an island, which were super well done. They even paid attention to picking out which boards to use in different locations to create a final look, and custom cut some trim pieces for us instead of buying expensive transitions. I can’t say enough good things about Total Hardwood, and wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again in the future. Their price was super competitive, so you may have to wait to get on their schedule but it was totally worth it. Thank you Tony for our beautiful floor!

I went to their warehouse with my family to pick the right hardwood flooring for our new home and they have a handful of selections. The Owner, Tony, was extremely helpful, reliable and honest. I highly recommend this flooring company in San Jose if you’re looking for hardwood flooring.

Our floors were a mess! The subfloor was in poor condition with unevenness throughout. We thought we might have to replace the subfloor in some areas but Tony and his guys came in and installed a new floor. After the installation, there was a little more work to do to finish the job. We paid them for the work they had done up to that point, but when we asked them to return and help match the level of the hardwood with the carpet, Tony stopped responding to text messages. We called and left messages, but never heard back. I think this business might be closed.
