I used Dr hardwood to refinish some of my hardwood floors at my rental home. The tenants that lived there had kids and dogs that completely messed up the finish and took a lot of the color away. Most companies told me i needed to fully sand but Layne was able to save my floors with a screen & recoat. The best part is it was done in one day. If we ever need help with hardwood floors again, I’ll be calling Layne

Layne did an absolutely beautiful job on my wood floors. I was worried we could never get the bad spots looking good, but Layne has them looking brand new. He came out and accessed the floors, gave me the options and suggested which option my floors really needed. He got everything done in a timely manner and has been very professional.

We used dr hardwood to refinish our master bedroom floors and install matching flooring in the adjacent closet. Layne was thorough with his quote all the way down to scheduling the service. Top notch customer service and they really were professional during the job and after. Highly recommend!

I contacted several companies including Dr. Hardwood. They asked me to send a video of the scratched engineered hardwood floors. After reviewing the video, they agreed to come out the same day and review my floors in person and gave me a consultation right then. The job turned out great. I would recommend Dr. Hardwood Refinishing. Not only was the quality good, but they were on time and very responsive.

We moved into our home a year ago. Unfortunately, the previous owners left many marks on the wood floors and had tried to cover them with a coat of extremely high gloss poly. We thought we were going to have to have the floors taken down to bare wood to get the more natural look we wanted. Then I did some research and found Layne at Dr. Hardwood! Layne explained the process, gave us a quote, and put us on his schedule within a couple of days! He was able to erase even the deepest scratches, darken the floors, and make them satin all in a day. We are so pleased with his work!

We closed on a home and the floors are engineered hardwood. They looked worn and had some bare spots but we didn’t want to replace them. We looked for floor repair and found Dr. Hardwood Floor Refinishers. Layne came to look at the floors and said he could clearly give the floors a refreshed look and put protective coating on. I applied Bona polish to my hardwood floors for around 3 years. I started noticing a haze developing on them. I reached out to a flooring company to come check it out. Unfortunately, they informed me that my floors were engineered hardwood and couldn’t be sanded to restore them. Gave me a quote of 15k to replace my floors. Not wanting to I contacted another company, which offered a quote 17k. I did some research and found Dr. Hardwood. Layne recently completed the restoration of my wood floors, and they look amazing. 5 stars to this company, I would definitely call them if you need help with your hardwood floors.

We contacted Dr Hardwood to get a quote on our engineered hardwood floors. They were dull and lightly scratched up. Layne came by to give a quote and explained the process of a screen and recoat. The job was scheduled and completed the next day in under 5 hours, thanks Layne you saved us from having to replace our floors.
