Pro Access Floors has dismal customer service, at best. Instead of treating me as a valued customer, I felt like nothing more than potential revenue. After deciding that we did not seem like a lucrative opportunity, they dismissed our business without even trying to help. I am in the market for a raised access flooring system and have been reaching out to a few companies to get quotes on materials and possible installation of such a system. I was fairly impressed with Pro Access Floors website and decided to shoot them an email with a general description of what we are trying to accomplish. After waiting almost a week to hear back from them, I decided to just give them a call. While I was describing my situation I was cut off and told that they had seen my email and that they couldn’t help me. At this point, I am a little bothered that they didn’t have the time to shoot me a quick email explaining this, and thus saving me a phone call. The man begins to describe to me why his system is not ideal for us. He explained that the system was made of steel panels and that since our application (in his mind) was a wet application that it would not be a good fit. I started to explain our specific design constraints to him in more detail hoping to understand if they truly were not a good fit. Again, I was cut short and basically told to look elsewhere. This bothered me a whole lot because he didn’t even have the time to understand our situation. The whole time I got a feeling that they were patting a small child on the head saying “now now, we know better than you, and you are not important enough for us to talk to.” This was only confirmed more when the most infuriating part of the call came up. Finally the man on the other end mentioned that there may be some solution that would work for us, but that it “was out of our price range.” Wait… WHAT? Up to this point, nothing about cost has ever been mentioned. I never once gave him a budget. In fact, we have received other quotes from other companies for this same job and are willing to spend much more than we have been quoted to get the right result! Long story short, Pro Access Floors ignored my original email and were condescending around ever turn. They refused to have a conversation about our situation and wrote us off. I would NEVER recommend doing business with these guys. UPDATE: I just noticed the response to my review today. I would like to re-iterate that no one at this company has ever tried to understand what we needed. The very fact that they still think the raised floor is for a bathroom situation shows that. We had another company build the raised floor for us and it has been working beautifully for over 5 months now. All I was asking for from Pro Access is for someone to TRY to understand our situation so that we could decide together if a solution was possible (which it was). I have never been so insulted by a company and never felt like someone wanted my money less.
