This person was very unprofessional, he had 1000 excuses as to why he couldn’t show up on time and do his job correctly. At the end after payment in full, his true Feelings came out. He said he didn’t care what his customers thought Of his professionalism. If you want your entire house full of dust hire this guy. He takes no measures to block off rooms that are not being refinished. His workers leave all the doors open so the entire house is full of dust. He tries to make you feel guilty, saying that he can’t pay his employees. Their check will bounce if you don’t pay him. He is a know it all and doesn’t listen to his customers. However, I will say this the floors did come out good, but you have to deal with his excuses, whining and complaining.I have owned and ran a Successful service business myself for 25 years, I would’ve never talk to my customers or allowed my employees to speak to them this way. I hope this helps and your decision to hire this guy.

I hired TA Roberts Flooring recently to restore all of my hardwood floors in my home built in 1950. I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied with the job that Tim (the owner) and his team did. Tim’s background in restoration convinced me to hire him for the job. His attention to detail, craftsmanship, punctuality was the best bar none. He answered all of our questions, picked up everyone of my calls/ texts, and cared for my floors like they were his own. I trust Tim to return again and take care of us. There were lots of companies I called prior to hiring TA Roberts Flooring that gave me various prices and Tim’s price beat all of them. You won’t be sorry choosing Tim and his crew.

Tim and his crew took care of our floor refinishing while we were out of town. He kept us in the loop with updates. We rented a pod to make things easier with the furniture. The furniture was moved so it would go back easy and not just thrown in piles. He showed back up on the final day Friday at 6pm to move the furniture back. Also, wanted to mention he had another job going on. Instead of rescheduling he figured out a way to make both happen. We couldn’t be happier with the service and would definitely use again.

They stepped in when a different contractor bailed and we sure are glad they did. Super professional and the quality of work is outstanding. Only drawback is that we don’t have more hardwood floors for them to do. 10 out of 10 would hire them again.

This company was impressive! The owner, Tim, responded to my request for an estimate almost immediately, then he showed up on time for the estimate. I felt his quote was reasonable so I hired him. The start date was set for 1 month and he continually communicated with me giving updates. He started the project the day he said and the result was amazing. He restored a 1930 Tybee Island beach cottage’s wood floor beyond my expectations. I recommend TAFlooring without any reservations.

Sand and finish probably pretty good , but new hardwood flooring installation is medium at best. Advise having a higher quality installer do all carpentry and install, then perhaps let them do finish. Recently saw 2 and a quarter white oak repair job, all “in error” replaced with red oak. Rather than do right ,tell homeowner, replace with correct white oak, they gonna try to to change stain in replaced area( about 6 x 12 ,) and hide.

Tim and his wife were very professional. They were very responsive when ever I had a question about the flooring as well as provided input on the quantity and quality of flooring to purchase. They kept me informed of the how the flooring installation was going as well as a daily walk through to make sure I was happy with their work. They have truly made me fall back in love with my home.

I cannot say enough great things about TA Roberts Flooring. My wife and I just purchased a home in Richmond Hill. The floors (2000 sq ft.) are 150+ year old reclaimed cotton mill pine. We wanted to strip and re-stain the floors with a darker tint. We met with five well known contractors, all of whom warned us of the difficulties associated with staining antique pine. Tim Roberts was the only contractor who had extensive experience working with antique pine floors. He understood our needs, and went about thoroughly researching different applications, other than using a standard polyurethane finish. His suggestions ultimately resulted in truly wonderful finished product. Tim and his team won my wife’s confidence by helping to her work with color and flow options. We had some tight timelines in which to get work done, and Tim’s team met these timelines without a hitch. My wife and I have undertaken a number of major home improvement projects during dating back to 1985. I can say without reservation that Tim Roberts is as attentive and professional as any contractor we have ever used. I would recommend his company for any size project.
