Mike’s a pro and treats your concrete as if it were his own. I am very familiar with the ins and outs of concrete and couldn’t be happier with our concrete floors which were previously covered in carpet, glue and tile for 50+ years. Such an improvement!

Michael and his team were a pleasure to work with and I’m thrilled I chose Allbright to restore my concrete floors. From start to finish, Michael was relaxing, friendly, professional, and thorough. Most importantly, of course, my floors look stellar. They are the focal point of my house now, don’t let the price tag deter you – you might find somewhere cheaper but you won’t find someone better. Michael was committed to absolute perfection on my floors across every room of my house. Another big sell was how trustworthy these two proved to be – and if you live in the hi-desert, you know how important that is. It can be hard to find folks who won’t take your money and run and every time I stopped at the house to check in on the job, these guys were hard at work. They showed up at the same time every day, worked their behinds off, and locked up when they left. There were some mistakes along the way, like a broken bedpost while moving my Renaissance-era four-poster bed (AKA ancient and incredibly heavy), but Michael had the post fixed within 24 hours and I can’t tell the difference. And that’s the kind of folks I want to work with. Lastly, Michael and Dale were super kind toward my dog who can be skittish with new people. Dale had treats for Piero every day and their kindness was unmatched in that department. I am 100% satisfied with my floors. They’re now my favorite part of the house! I’ll upload better photos when I get home, but for now, feast your eyes on these living room floors (and my dog)!

We reached out to Allbright to do an overall smoothing of our patio at our home in Joshua Tree. Mike came out same day and I received a bid the same day that was fair and reasonable. Mike and his partner, Dale began work a few weeks later and we couldn’t be happier with their work. Their work is terrific, as I wrote, price fair and the outcome is exactly what my wife and I were looking for. Mike and Dale really did go above and beyond. I highly recommend their work.

Michael came up with a good idea like trying to etch something into the concrete and make it look really old and antique-ish and I think he did a very good job . Thank you Mike for your hard work you made our living room look amazing !

Courteous, timely, and efficient, Michael and his employees did a perfect job on restoring a very old decrepit slate floor to a spectacular showpiece. Furthermore, he made a tile floor with 30 year-old grout. Look brand new. You get what you pay for with this company.

I recently had my driveway restored by the team at Allbright Restoration Services in Yucca Valley, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Michael and Dale were awesome to work with – they were friendly, communicative, and really knew their stuff. They arrived on time and got right to work assessing the damage, and they were able to offer a clear plan for restoring my driveway. They worked quickly and efficiently, and kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. I was really impressed with their attention to detail and the quality of their work. Michael is more than a floor refinisher. He is a CRAFTSMAN. Michael recently completed his second job with us and we are so happy with our newly reborn floors. For the first job he refinished the un-maintained 60 year old concrete foundation in our detached garage which was renovated into a modern office and guest sleeping quarters. The transformation is a beauty — from gritty concrete foundation to a finely polished floor that looks as if we had a subtle terrazzo floor poured instead. Our second project with Michael was more complex. We had an addition built to our original house which had a gross looking epoxy coating on the floor. The addition required our contractor to pour a new concrete foundation that butted right up against the foundation of the original house. A long (20’) wall of the original house removed to open up into the addition to create a “loft-like” space creating more openness and airiness to the house. One difficulty (we thought) was how to promote a feeling of seamlessness between the original floor and the new floor of the addition. Problem solved by Michael. As with our newly renovated garage/office, he diamond polished the original floor of the house to remove the epoxy, diamond polished the new addition’s floor to give the entire floor space the same texture and feel. Next, he worked with us on deciding on a stain color that would blend the old and the new floor color seamlessly. We decided on a darker color stain that depending on the time of day and angle of the sun, brings out some surprising highlights in the color and texture of our newly refinished and finely polished concrete floor. You cannot appreciate the amount of care Michael puts into his work until you actually talk with him about how he proceeds and then watch him in action. If you want your concrete floor to look like a warehouse floor, find someone else. If you want to have your concrete floor (or outdoor patio for that matter) transformed into something that invites you to enter and walk upon barefoot Michael is the person to work with. Another plus that we didn’t expect is that our new floors are not particularly slippery in stocking feet like the epoxy floor that we had removed from our house. There is no plastic slippery glossy surface that the epoxy had, AND our floors do not scratch like epoxy did. When Michael tells you he will arrive at a particular time, you can count on it. He worked with us on a schedule that fit our needs. At a certain point in the renovation process, our contractors could not proceed with the finish work until the floors were completed. Just make sure your contractors protect your new floors carefully so they don’t cause damage when doing their finish work.

Michael and Dale did a superb job on our polished concrete floors at our new place in Joshua Tree. Michael was patient in helping us decide whether to go with a concrete overlay or polishing our existing slab. We went with the latter and are so happy we did! The floors feel great to walk on and it totally transformed the space. Michael was prompt, communicative, and worked hard to make sure we had a floor we loved in a timely manner. If you’re looking to get beautiful polished concrete floors, look no further!

I had a ton of work done on my home but the most enjoyable and best work was with Michael and his team. The other reviews mention that Michael is an artist, and that’s the truth! He was able to take my vision and make it even better and the results are absolutely stunning concrete floors. Michael is the most honest and trustworthy contractor that I have ever worked with. He’s good on his word and is incredibly reliable. I recommend anyone needing any concrete work to hire him. He’s really the best of the best!
