Central Rug is a top flight company. My wife and I have been their customers since 1988. They installed carpets in our house, and just finished today the outdoor rug on our front porch—a beautiful job. They have installed high quality outdoor carpet on our porch since 1988.The office personnel and workers are all very polite. I highly recommend them without reservation.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We had a bad spill on our rug but they were able to clean it out very quickly (in and out in an hour). Highly recommended!

A good experience all around. Shopped in the store, brought home samples to see how they looked in our space, made a choice, got a quote, placed the order. The carpeting arrived at the store and was held there until the rest of our project was completed. We then scheduled the installation, which happened exactly as promised, and we are very pleased with the result.

I wanted to replace my 90’s kitchen backsplash. Locating people to do a small job like this can be difficult. My husband and I used Central Rug and Floors when installing new carpeting many years ago. I wasn’t sure if they did this type of work so I called to ask. Yes, they do kitchen tile backsplashes! We visited the store and chose samples to take home. The work was done in one day and looks AMAZING! The new backsplash updates my kitchen to a new level. The installer’s tile work was flawless! He let us know what was going on every step of the way. I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Central Rug and Floors. Would definitely recommend.

I worked with Harvey and it was an overall great experience! He was very helpful in helping me pick the type of rug I was looking for and kept me updated on the timing throughout the process. The delivery was very easy too! I would definitely buy another rug from Central Rug & Floors again.

We just had carpet from Central Rug & Floors installed (Nourtex Aspen Hazelnut) and we are so pleased! The folks at the Evanston location were friendly and helpful with making recommendations (and patient as we changed our order a few times!). The carpet installer, Francisco, was friendly, professional, efficient, and answered all our questions. Harvey even followed up after the installation to make sure we were pleased. We plan to replace more carpet and will definitely be returning to Central Rug & Floors!

It was a pure stroke of luck that took us to Central Rug & Floors at 3006 Central St., in Evanston, where we met the impressive owner/manager, Harvey Gerskowitz, who aided us in the repair of a small but valued rug. This 3×5 hand-made piece was badly in need of repair, but Harvey was able to offer that assistance at a fair price and in a reasonable time. We recommend him and his expert service without hesitation. He’s a nice guy, his company does fine work, and we rank him as among the best in his business.

Our condo association hired Central Rug and Floors to replace the very old carpeting in our vintage building. From start to finish the company provided exceptional service and the quality of the carpeting that was installed measured up to their service. From taking measurements to the final installation, many of the residents have already commented how pleased they are with the results. This can be quite a challenge in a condo situation.
