Run don’t walk away from Northern Fence. Filter reviews to recent and you’ll see the pattern of awful experiences in the last year or 2. I had a fence put in from them last year so many issues where to start? Nightmare install date got moved 4 times over the course of 8 weeks, finally got done in end of November. Now that spring is here and I can actually be in our yard and see and use the fence, I realize much was unfinished and shoddy. There are slots breaking apart already, shifting posts, caps blown off and missing as they were not properly sealed (they are supposed to put a small bead of gorilla type glue around caps so they stay securely on, yet able to get off if/when needed for service, adjustments – none of that done) as well as other things that are broken and they won’t return my calls or emails. I’ve reached out to them over 10 times in the last 8 weeks and not even the decency to return an email or phone call. I know many professional contractors around Green Bay and Appleton and heard that the 2 lead crew people from Northern quit on them last year putting them massively behind on jobs that they usually over book anyway. Now, they just cherry pick easier higher profit jobs that they can sub contract out to handy men in the area of Green Bay and Fox Cities. So even if you do get a hold of or a response from a human, and they take your money, who knows who’s installing your fence, when you will actually get it installed (they say a couple weeks but it will be much much longer) and good luck ever getting a hold of them after an install with any issues (and there will be issues that much you can count on). Spend a bit more with higher reputable company and get a better product and service. Reported to better business bureau.

We had 250ft feet of vinyl fence installed. They were fast, friendly, professional, and by far the best cost around. We will be recommending them to anyone looking to get a fence installed

I contacted this company after seeing a job done in my hometown. The response that I received back was via e-mail. In the e-mail it stated that nobody would be contacting me via phone due to short staffing, except the person pricing the job, and to please choose a time. The person giving the estimate didn’t call me at the chosen time. I e-mailed the office confirming and didn’t receive a response, but the estimator called back after that. He stated there was an emergency at a job site. We discussed the project and he said he’d send a quote. A quote never came. I called and e-mailed Northern’s office. No quote; no response back. Although I’ve seen their work, and it was done well, I cannot recommend this business.

We shopped around and got quotes from several area fencing companies, Northern was by far the lowest. The crew showed up on time and finished the fence in one day. We get compliments from our neighbors all the time! Keagan was very friendly and answered any questions I had. I highly recommend them. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again if we needed fencing in the future.
