Romanoff Renovations 3 years agoAvoid at all costs. Incompetent employees. Terrible management. Our first installer started making excuses for shoddy work the second he got out of his van. The carpet was “too large and too heavy to get upstairs”, so my wife and I carried it up for him. He then cut the carpet anyways, placing large visible seams in the entryway to the two rooms being carpeted. He did a poor job on the work that was completed, and left the stairway landing incomplete. At that point we were asked to sign off on the “completed” job. He did not properly install the seams, so they were not repairable. A second installer was sent out, and fixed part of the landing, but when we pushed to have the poor seams fixed, we were eventually told we’d need to get a refund and they will rip out the installed carpet. The only person who told us our concerns were valid and needed to be addressed was the second, competent, installer, but management denied his assessment and recommendation, leaving us with no options but a refund. This process has eaten over a month of our lives, and we’re back at square one. Do not work with this company if you can avoid it.
