I’ve had my fence for about 5 years and I love it, but recently something cracked one of the pickets. I had an extra but couldn’t switch them myself. Jim Martin came out and switched it for me. Thanks, Jim, I couldn’t do it myself

Good, heck even basic customer service has completely dissolved at Fence Consultants of West Michigan. They no longer seem to want business, return emails, or phone calls and are unprofessional, even with existing clients. We’ve given them over $23,800 in business and have had to follow up at least 4 times trying to get a proposal with no success. I can no longer recommend this company. It’s a real shame because we recommended them to many neighbors but that won’t happen anymore.

They were supposed to show up but they ended up being to busy. The price was too high and the time frame was far to long for me to wait.

Last Friday this company did some fence work on the property next to mine. In the process, they destroyed over fifty feet of established gardens in my back yard (not a little over the line out by the street, but in my back yard.). They trampled down hundreds of plants just as they were emerging for the season. If I’m allowed to attach a photo, I will so you can judge for yourself. Too bad I can’t award them no stars. They never approached me to ask my permission or to let me know what they were doing in my yard. They never approached me afterwards to acknowledge the damage. Just marched in, did their damage, marched out. Monday I called their office and described what happened and the extent of the damage. Their entire response was “sorry”. No interest in talking about it. No questions. Not even a desire to look at it to determine whether my complaint was justified or whether I was exaggerating. Nothing but “sorry”. They JUST. DON’T. CARE. These are not the actions of a responsible company.
