We highly recommend Freedom Fence & Deck in Essex. They did a demo on our 6 foot tall fences. Brent & both his crews were amazing. We have never seen a harder working group of men. They were so in sync, always cleaning up after them selves. Loved the whole process.

Our entire experience from start to finish with Freedom Fence and Deck was excellent. We bought a townhouse last year and wanted to enclose our tiny yard so that we could add some privacy, have space for our pup to spend time outdoors freely, and so we could eventually turn our yard into a small entertainment space. Brian came out to give us a quote in March, and spent time explaining all of our options and the quality of their products. Extra kudos to Brian as he was SO patient with us as our HOA took a very long time to approve our fence. We opted for a 6ft white vinyl fence with a rear facing gate, one of their most standard options. Our little baby yard is 22′ by 14′. Our price in March 24′ was under $4K, which we found to be very reasonable. After our approval came through from our HOA, our fence was installed within a few short weeks. The guys who came out to do the install were professional, kind, and efficient, especially on a rainy day! Brent came out the day of as well to check in everything, and stopped back at the completion of work. If you’re looking for quality workmanship and attentive customer service for your project, give these guys a call.

Freedom did a full demo of my old deck and a build of a new one as well as replacing my fence. Both were huge projects that they finished beautifully in just a few days. Everyone from the sales rep to the front office to the crew was a pleasure to work with — knowledgeable, friendly, detail oriented, and committed to getting it done right. I’m thrilled with the work Freedom did and I’ll absolutely call them again for future projects. Special shoutouts to Jim, Kelsey, Richard, Mynor, and Miguel. I feel like I have a whole new property in time for spring and summer. Thank you!

I had a garden fence installed in 2023. They installed the 2 gates so low to the ground that they barely opened and installed swinging in where the ground was higher slightly. Never asked which way they should swing although I didn’t think about this until later. After a year of struggle I finally had enough and broke down and emailed the company about the gates never fully opening. Well, for $500 more they could come out and take a look. The overall quality of materials used was great, but the lack of gate mobility is a huge downer. I probably should have reached out sooner, but I had a lot of personal struggles the past year and avoided gardening last year due to those struggles. I think about it now bc the weeds are starting grow and need mowing, but getting in that area to mow is so difficult and stressful and was reminded how stressful this past week it was when attempting to tame the growth. I reached out in hope of having some sort of resolution. A previous fence company I used in 2017 to install the main 6 foot fence and large great came back and adjusted the gate for free bc they guaranteed gate adjustments for 5 years. I guess that’s not freedom fence policy. They don’t guarantee their work, but it is sturdy. So if you choose to go with them make sure you are clear with what you need at install and check the gates before ok’ing their work. My fault I should have checked it out and been more stern, but I don’t stand up for myself. I got nice wide gates to fit mower in, but you will see in photos doesn’t work out so well. I really wish I was given option which way gates swung.
