Here is my honest review of Shuck fence company for my 6 foot privacy fence. 1. Left a mess of rolls of nails and fence materials all over my yard. Instructed them to leave the debris in a certain area but that did not happen. 2. Custom Gate is not functional. It will not open. It opened the first day then the weight off the wood has pulled the whole fence forward making it not level. Had another contractor come look at the gate and they told me the gate needs wheels to support the weight. When I called about the issue the guy had me send photos and videos. I did, then he told me that he thought it was the latch. It is not the latch and I told him that. I told him what the other person had said about the weight and the wheels and he said you don’t put wheels on a gate. Which I know for a fact you do. Then he said it just needs shaved probably. Which will not fix the issue as it will just pull it down further. The lack of knowledge about a fence gate is scary. They said someone would come look at it but I have yet to see or hear from anyone. 3. Their communication is lacking. They originally told me it would be 4 weeks out when I put my deposit down. I waited double that. They blamed the weather but that is just not true. I kept calling to follow up and they were rude over the phone. They said they don’t have to call and let me know anything to just wait. I feel like a little communication/customer service would have went a long way. On top of that the team who build the fence said they would be back on the next day at 10 am. They didn’t show until 6 pm and zero text or call or anything to let me know that. I even tried reaching out to them with no response. 4. I had a tree that I requested be removed several times. They cut it down low and built the fence directly on top of said tree and cut a hole around it. So when it grows it will mess up the fence. When I asked about the rock and root clause and what that entails and they said they don’t have to remove anything. 5. There are nails sticking out of the back everywhere of the gate. It just looks dangerous. Luckily, I don’t have any small children this could impact. All in all I think you will be fine if you don’t need a gate, don’t need it done soon, and don’t care about quality.

They never showed up for any appointments we made and when they did show up it was because we had to call repeatedly and when they put up our gate the gate door was slouched over and we couldnt open it. Now they scheduled with us twice to come look at it and fix it and have not shown up for either appointment in the past 2 weeks. We will never have this place do any work for us ever again. Our friends that had them put up a fence for their ranch also had various issues and attitude problems form the staff there.

Angus Walker and his helper were amazing! Did a super job! Our fence looks great! Very respectful of the property and left no mess! Would definitely recommend them.
