Fence has held up ok. After 8yrs wood is rotting where it was installed against the ground and a post broke below ground. Wood is not warranted so will have to replace at my cost. Have a small section of Double Bee fence with Copperwood which has a 25yr warranty. Will use Double Bee for any future fence work.

Quality Fence sent an estimator out to give me a bid. All I knew was my gate did not close properly. There was a place where the fence looked to me like it might be separating and causing the gate to sag. They gave me an estimate and I signed it, plus sent 1/2 downpayment. When the actual worker came to fix it he told me the fence had nothing to do with it. He was told there were a couple of hoizontal boards that I wanted straightened out but that was never an issue with me. Over all, he did 3 things that took him a total of 20 minutes. I asked for a discount and refund of my money. The office lady said since they had not originally installed the fence/gate it would cost me more and that no one else in town would do the work because they had not done it either. They also said they had $127 in materials used which was totally incorrect. And they sent 2 men to do it, which was true. They obviously didn’t need 2 men. Their estimator had no idea what needed to be done either. They would not give me a discount or refund. I had relied totally on what the estimator said. I had no idea what needed to be done but thought maybe the entire gate needed to be rebuilt. This was a complete sham.The fact that they had not built the fence was totally irrelevant as far as I am concerned. I asked them to repair a gate. Can you not get a plumber or electrician to do work at your home if they didn’t build it? This is what they did for over $400. Where there is bare wood, they did it. The first picture shows where they realligned the catch pin, the large spot on the right of it is a hole for the latch to go through. It’s nothing they did. They realligned the catch pin, shaved the side of the gate and moved the handle making them have to reallign the small board on the back side. The fourth picture is the fence that I thought might be causing the issue. If you want to use this company, make sure the man who will be doing the works sees it before you sign anything, the estimator doesn’t have a clue.

I contracted them to do some fence repairs for us. Put down my deposit on June 5 and was told they were 6 weeks out. As we neared 6 weeks I called and was told I was 3rd in line and I should hear from them in the next week. Two more weeks pass (our yard hassle been marked for over a week). After waiting on hold for 10 minutes I was told my file was in the “In Progress” folder and I should hear from them soon, but would not give a timeline other than to tell me they were currently 8 weeks out. If we had had an extremely wet summer, I would have understood the delay, but it had not been. When I ended the call I told the guy, “I guess this tells me not to use your company in the future”. Fast forward a week later and I get my deposit returned after waiting nine weeks!

Even though we had some confusion and communication issues in getting the fence built, with the look we wanted, these guys showed why they are calling themselves Quality fence. They took down nearly half of the fence at their own cost to make it right, no questions ask. They could have given us run around and someone with much less integrity would have done so..These guys made it right. I would have them build fence for us again. Good guys, quality fence.
