Working with Peerless was a good experience. Kristi Ifft was my sales person and she did a great job answering my questions, addressing any concerns, and was also prompt in getting back to me. She was even able to get me a discount on my fencing to help save me money. Peerless was quick in getting me on their schedule for installation and only had to wait just a couple weeks. The installers did a great job as well and were friendly, quick, and efficient. I’m happy with my fence and it looks great. Thanks Peerless.

Good luck if you need a repair. I’ve been calling for two months with no response. Every single time they tell me that they will get back to me the next day and it never happens. Finally after 6 weeks someone got in touch with me and said that they would check their inventory and get back to me and of course they never did. I went with another fencing company to do the repair even though Peerless are the ones who installed it.

The fence is gorgeous. Our neighbors all love it and strangers have either told us it’s beautiful or people stop their cars if we’re out. Colin was here early in the morning and he and his helper finished the fence in one day. It’s solidly in the ground so we have no worries. Colin was great. He explained the process and got right to work. We could not be happier! It has really added so much beauty to our home.

Peerless started out great. Very responsive and streamlined process of getting an appointment. Chuck was great and very personable! Didn’t take long to get him out to get a quote. After the contract was signed, however, this project went off the rails. The 7-9 week lead time was not met and any updates provided on this project was due to me reaching out to the company asking for updates. I was finally given an installation date but come the day of installation the Peerless crew came out, decided it was too cold, and left. I had heard multiple times from office staff that as long as the weather was 10 degrees or higher the crews worked. When I inquired with Katie, she informed me hours later that there would be a crew the following day first thing. The ‘new’ crew assigned to my project didn’t show until 4pm the following day. They came back the following morning and completed the job (6 hours total). The new crew was subcontracted out from Chicago. No issues with that, however, it’d be nice to be provided a heads up that a job is sub-contracted out instead of having trucks show up with no visible company markings. The fence installation had multiple careless issues. The Amigos Fencing crew put all trash in posts, installed broken, dented, and scratched pieces, and installed the handles on the double gate an inch off of one another. Getting anyone to respond from Peerless after this install was nearly impossible. Weeks later after no communication from Katie a different subcontracted crew randomly showed up at my house. Nothing was fixed correctly or at all. I continued to inquire with Katie at the Bloomington office and never heard back. After I had communicated I would pay for the remaining half of the project after the fence was fixed, I received over 3 calls and emails. It wasn’t until Nola from accounting reached out to a regional manager (Kristen) that ANYTHING got done. Once Kristen got involved I quickly had a crew out that was very thorough and fixed everything correctly. Overall, I have a fence now that I love but the process and communication was nothing but hand holding. This process took from August of 2023 until the end of February 2024 when the fence was finally fixed. If I had a do over, I’d likely not use this company again.
