We contracted Ryder Renovations to replace all our patio screens damaged by Hurricane Irma. We have had Mr. Ryder back out twice to repair the screens damaged during installation. The facts as we see them are:: The job was completed by his wife and son He finally admitted his wife did not bring new spline so they decided to use the pre-existing spline which is well over 12 years and maybe closer to 20 years old The old spline was stiff, brittle and non-pliable. Using the pre-existing spline caused multiple challenges such as: The spline roller sliding off the track cutting new screen in multiple areas during installation. The new screen is coming out of spline track due to pre-existing spline not being able to be completely re-inserted Multiple areas where pre-existing spline did not finish to the corners properly New screening was not tight in many areas because the old, brittle pre-existing spline could not be reinserted into groove tightening screen properly. Mr. Ryder has repeatedly claimed their workmanship was perfect and flawless, reusing the pre-existing spline dated over 12 year old (and probably closer to 20 years old) is a normal business practice and insinuated we or our dogs have caused the problems. He also tried to state that the quote did not include using new spline for this job in order to hold cost down. The bottom line is that Mr. Ryder is unwilling to take ownership of his incorrect decision to use the pre-existing spline and the problems caused by his workers unable to reinstall the new screen with unworkable pre-existing spline. We are completely open to have any contractor or mediator inspect this job and will abide by any decisions the make. We feel extremely comfortable that we acted fairly, without malice, and gave him several attempts to take ownership and rectify the issues. We also feel obligated to protect other consumers and Home Advisor’s reputation. Ryder Renovations should be flagged appropriately until such time as they rectify our issues. This may require the entire job redone, Ryder Renovations sub-contracting the complete reinstallation and/or reimbursement of the entire cost of this job. I see no other alternatives since BAD PRE-EXISITING SPLINE was used on the entire job. Also, I have downgraded our review from 3.5 stars to .5 stars after multiple attempts to have Ryder Renovations take ownership and rectify problem

I could rave for paragraphs about how great Riverbend Kitchen/Vicki is! She recently worked with my parents to redo their kitchen and give them the kitchen of their dreams. They wanted something that had a timeless, European look. Vicki made it all so easy. It was great to work with someone who was so diligent, detail oriented, and communicated so well. She always got right back to us when we had questions. My parents are thrilled!! Maybe my kitchen is next! Absolutely recommend Vicki!

As a homeowner that has been in my opinion ripped off and scammed by other so called contractors i did not have alot of money because of the $38000 debt i got after calling Tiger Plumbing. Trusted the wrong company and was hard for me to trust any more contractors. But i have to say Dave told me from the first call he is very reasonable. Took a little longer from the plumbing Tiger Plumbing did but Dave was upfront and honest about what i needed and the cost. Dave, Tim ,and Derrick all worked very hard and did what i asked and talked about only and told us everything they needed to do. Very happy with them and will be calling them again for other jobs. You can “trust” Renown Remodeling. Thank you.
