I really wish I had better things to say about our experience with this company. I’m leaving this lengthy review because I cannot get a single person at this company to call us back and do the work they have said they will do, when they say they’ll do it. This work (a 1-day job) was supposed to have been finished 13 days ago. And as of this writing, it is still not complete. My wife’s and my communications with Chamblee have been, in a word, abysmal. We did have a good interaction with their salesperson initially, and their staff got us set up for the work to begin faster than we expected. Every step of the process since then has been a major headache. First, they failed to arrive on time the morning the work was supposed to begin. This was very disruptive, as my wife and I had both changed our work schedules to accommodate them. At the end of the arrival window, we received a call that their truck had broken down and they would need to reschedule for the next day. We made further work adjustments to accommodate them arriving the next day. We were very specific that we needed to leave for work by 10:30 am that day, so it was important they begin work by 10. They acknowledged this. Next day: 10 am came and went. No sign of the team. We called the office and they said they would try to locate them. They finally arrived around 10:30, after we had rearranged our work schedules at the last minute. Again. The work they did was good, but they didn’t realize until they arrived that one of the gates had been incorrectly measured. The installer was apologetic and said he would return the next business day with the new gate. That day came, and no one showed up. We called the office; there was no one there. We really expected to hear back the NEXT business day (a Monday), since we paid our deposit in good faith and had so far received an unusable fence. We thought they would want to check in with us, or update us with a timeline or more information. Monday morning came; we heard nothing. We called the office and left a message. An hour later, we got a call from a gentleman who said that they had to custom fabricate a new gate, and it would be ready that afternoon or Tuesday morning, and would be delivered and installed Tuesday or Wednesday for certain. I said thank you, and asked him to PLEASE let us know when they would be coming, as we wanted to be present to see that the work was finished. He assured me they would. Tuesday. No call. Wednesday. No call. So Wednesday we took the initiative once more and reached out. Still couldn’t reach the main receptionist, but we reached another woman who said she’d track down the main receptionist and she would have her call me back. We never got a call. At 4:30 pm, aware that Chamblee’s office would close at 5, I called yet again. And was told that the receptionist had left for the day. I explained the situation (for about the 5th time) and finally received word that the crew was on their way to finish the gate. They arrived a few minutes after 5pm, with the new gate. Which was fabricated backwards. It took another 24 hours before the poor team returned for a third time with the correct gate, which they installed. However (and I didn’t notice this until the next day), one of the workers apparently realized that even after all these trips, they had not brought all the parts needed to complete the gate. So one of them walked out to the new fence at the rear of our property (it was hidden from view), removed two post caps from it, and stuck those caps on the new section of gate. I can only guess this person thought we wouldn’t notice. But now, two weeks from the date when we thought we would have a completed fence, this project still is not finished, because one of the workers saw fit to swap parts around without being straightforward with us. We are at our wits’ end with this company. Our last communication was with a member of their staff who assured us he would bring new post caps to install today. The day is now over. And we’ve heard nothing.

We recently had our fence replaced and the team at Chamblee Fence did a great job! Brad was very helpful getting the project planned and keeping things moving forward as we had other projects going on at the same time that the fence had to wait on. Once the job was started Miguel and his team did a great job removing the old fence and installing the new one. It looks great and we’re very happy with the results!

Because I recently adopted a large, loud, easily distracted, and nosy big dog, I needed a tall privacy fence around my big backyard. The installer team from Chamblee Fence Company showed up early on the designated day, worked steadily all day, and finished the job before dark. They left my yard much cleaner and neater than it was when they arrived. The new fence was installed exactly like I wanted it, including two gates that I can easily keep locked with padlocks. I can let my dog out into my yard anytime she asks to go outside without having to worry about her escaping through my very old previous fence. She is a mixed breed “working dog,” and she is so much happier now that she can frequently patrol the perimeter of her world to protect her family. And she is ever so much more calm because she feels safer and more in control of her now well-defined and more private world. And because of my new fence, I am also now enjoying that same feeling of calmness, security, and privacy in my backyard. I highly recommend the Chamblee Fence Company!

Wonderful experience with Chamblee fence! We had Brad come out to look over the site within 1-2 days of initial call, he provided valuable considerations keeping mind our current landscaping, ease of use, and safety… and were able to squeeze us in earlier than the date they projected. Most importantly, having the pool fence installed earlier gave us the peace of mind needed with our toddler running around.

We needed a fence put in quickly on a tight budget, and they delivered 🙂 Robert Womac came to our property, provided a timely estimate + guidance on how to submit permitting to the city. Scheduling was easy and flexible, and despite encountering some challenges in the underbrush growth when removing the fence, they completed the work as promised within the week. Crew on site was willing to problem-solve the post layout abutting the neighbor’s fence, and they helped keep the line straight, too, so we ended up with something that looked great.

Chamblee Fence did an excellent job installing an aluminum fence and 4 self closing gates around my backyard. The fence looks great! A year later, the gates and a panel of fencing was removed by landscapers to do some work. I needed Chamblee Fence to reset them in order to be compliant because I have a pool. Chamblee Fence was able to prioritize my job and did excellent work again.
