This is absolutely the worst fencing company to exist around Jackson county. First of all, they brought the wrong height fence to my house and installed it without offering to fix it, they barely cut our price. second, they fenced in way more of the yard than wanted, including a wooded creek area and left gaps all over the bottom of the fence, which later allowed my elder dog to fall in the creek around 4am and was halfway sunken into sand by the time I found him (when I pulled him out my entire leg went underground, real safe part to fence in there guys), third, our gate broke the week they installed it, had to hire someone else to fix it because they wouldn’t come back out, they did however come look at the gaps but didn’t nothing about it. I wouldn’t EVER recommend this company to anyone and quite frequently stray people away from them when asking who would be a reputable fencing company to use. And I mean A LOT of people have asked. Finally, we are having to hire a new company to come fix what Chapman couldn’t even have the decency to do themselves after installing it. It will be thousands of dollars because quite frankly they just suck. I didn’t even want to give 1 star. I have spent years fixing my fence to not allow my dogs to get out of it and to this day am having to leash walk my dogs in order to keep when in my yard. It is absolutely ridiculous. This has been going on since 2005.

Called to inquire about getting a quote on installing a pool. Lady answered the phone annoyed to begin with, told me nobody was there that she could have someone call me back (no problem) but then she stated that the initial pools they would install run 35k as if that would have deterred me from even going further. I hung up feeling like I was not good enough for them. Well I will not be using your company in the near future. How unprofessional

Do NOT use this company. Very unprofessional. My husband just got to the house at 4:09pm. The appointment was for 4pm. The quote guy didn’t even wait 10 mins before leaving. This was for a new construction home and we do not live on the property yet. I made this clear when making the appointment. We live an hour away and the guy doing the quote’s response was.. we wasted an hour of his time and they don’t do 2 free quotes.. we didn’t even receive 1 quote. He was rude to me and my husband. He said he didn’t care if my husband was on his way. I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone!!!!!

Custom electric gate and some board fencing for over market price of $18k. Was contracted in Sept. with verbal promise of delivery in 8-12 weeks. Date moved to Dec 23. Did not honor request to perform work when owner was on site. Did not coordinate well with other workers resulting in further delays and problems with grading and electrical which we had to provide separately for an additional cost of $7k (they just assumed those folks would schedule around Chapman as if they didn’t have other work). Gate installed but not operating only in March and Chapman began very rude demands for full payment because the “work was done” and staying that we only contracted for the work and not an operating gate. At least 3 times they had to admit even the work was not done and blamed confusion on the field crew. Field crew was very good and disappointing to see the sales and main office blame them. Gate finally functioning in late April and they were paid the balance immediately. Not even a thank you or an apology for all the bumps in the process. Gate nonfunctional by June 1 and was told to call and make an apt and they would let us know the cost to fix the brand new gate.

If you recognize the name, I went to school with Dustin, I expect more. Online your Saturday business hours are from 10am-12pm. I got there at 11:40. Gate closed…. ok. I call the number 3 times. No answer BUT also no voicemail set up either… come on now. At least you can make me feel like a valued, heard customer.
