GEF did the work on time and as requested. The price was the near the lowest of the quotes I received. The workers were friendly and professional. I am very pleased with my new fence. I would recommend them to my friends.

Golden Eagle Fencing is a quality act! Stephen, one of the owners, arrived when promised to provide an estimate . He was very attentive to my needs and concerns and explained very clearly what he recommended and how the process would work from start to finish. Our installation requirements changed a few times and Stephen and his team were very flexible and worked hard to ensure our satisfaction. A mistake was made with the installation of our 18′ sliding gate, and once pointed out (we were out of town for the install), they immediately scheduled a time to redo the project and correct the problem. The crew that did the installation was very friendly, courteous, and professional, and they made sure the job site was left as clean as when they started. The ONLY issue we had, and the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was the communication. When I discussed this with Stephen, he was very receptive and agreed it was an area needing improvement and they were working to implement some changes to prevent this issue in the future. Even with this small issue, I highly recommend Golden Eagle Fencing and I will use them again in the future.

Update: Coming up on 1 year and still not finished. The fence is up, but has not been stained or sealed. Now we’re in rainy season. Our project was started in July, and is still not complete as of mid-February. It was very clear that the initial labor hired to complete our fence likely had general construction experience, but not fencing experience. There were crooked posts, nails sticking out, splintered wood, we could see clear into the neighbors yard, the fence wiggled if you barely shook it. There was (and is) little to no oversight on the project. Every time the laborers left it was our responsibility to walk around and point out flaws, which there always were. There was no “quality control” on the company’s side. They would then come back weeks later, fix one thing, then we’d walk around ourselves and find more flaws. No project management or accountability. This went on for months. Most recently, about a month ago, a different team of laborers came out. They ripped down roughly 20% of our fence and started over. That small part looks better, but they left HUNDREDS of nails in our and our neighbors yards. We have 4 dogs and 2 young children between the 2 houses. That could have been catastrophic. WE had to go buy a magnet contraption to safely collect them all. They also messed up a portion of our artificial turf. They have not been back to complete the job. So almost 8 months later we have a 20% done, 80% shoddy fence with no stain. We have had to reach out continuously to try to get this project finished. We made a huge mistake paying them in full after they told us the project was “complete” and taking their word for it. We are very close to just telling them to come rip up the fence so we can start over with a new company and will definitely not be recommending them.
