I just called to request an estimate to replace the deck I currently have. The woman who answered the phone told me that they required a $500 nonrefundable fee before they would come out to look at the deck. I said what if I decide not to use you? She said that the $500 was nonrefundable. I was stunned. I told her this was absolutely ridiculous and, of course, there’s no way I would ever use them. These people evidently do not want business. I am absolutely shocked by this.

Had someone come out to measure for chain link fencing on 8/16/22. I called back 7 times over the past 5 months to inquire about the estimate and was told each time they would follow up and call back and never got a response. Was told multiple times they were still waiting on the cost of materials. How do you not know or have the materials for fencing projects when you are a fencing company? Frustrated that they would never provide any information or call back with an update.

Daniel and his team did an excellent job of installing our new deck. His attention to detail was obvious all the time while training others. He made sure the job was done right. At completion the job site was left clean and tidy. I would have no hesitation in recommending Daniel, his team and G & S.

This has been the worst experience with a business I have ever had. Do not hire them to do any work for you. When they provided me the quote for service, they told me it would take 3-4 days to install which was a large factor in making my decision to go with them. It took over two weeks with constant excuses as to why it wasn’t being included and pushing back the completion date 3 times. One excuse I was given as to why they couldn’t come to complete the fence by the second date it was supposed to be finished was because “it was Black Friday and I am going shopping” also because it “was game day.” I have never experienced such unprofessionalism. We were planning to list our home for sale which we couldn’t do until the fence was complete, and had to reschedule our plans for photographers and realtors multiple times which ended up in us losing deposits and frustrating people. Before the fence work even began, I emailed the office asking for the link to make the second half of the payment. I never received it. G+S called me to ask how it all went after it was done. I decided to be honest and shared the experience with them. They asked if I wanted to speak with a manager, I said sure. Chris called me back a week later (I still never received an email with the link for payment). When I relayed my dissatisfaction with service, Chris did nothing but basically tell me “that sucks.” He was rude, dismissive, and then had the nerve to tell me that he would like to “square up” as I was avoiding paying. This is what threw me over the edge. I explained I tried to pay even before the work was complete but it was not my fault I never received the email. It was offensive to be accused of avoiding payment. As a business owner, he is the rudest person I have ever dealt with. After the fact, I spoke with my neighbor and she said she had a terrible experience with them as well, which I wish I had known about beforehand.

G&G This firm installed a white pine deck. It is beautiful great carpenters. The quality s our basic. For any carpentry work I highly reccomend this firm.

G&S did my fence and it was good. However, when I contracted them to do the pavers since Jun 2022 and till now no pavers was installed and still waiting… don’t know what going on now …
