As many others have noted. Manny is very unprofessional. He doesn’t provide quotes when he said he would doesn’t show up and ghosts you for appointments. Even after calling and texting many times, he ignores you. How people like this are in business is beyond me.

Manny and his crew did my front gate for me! There was a couple concerns I noted and when I brought it to Manny’s attention he addressed them immediately. He had his team redo the work to my satisfaction, without question. Being a business owner myself, I know that things don’t always go as planned, but the way you handle things it what makes a world of a difference. Manny was very professional and attentive to my every request. He handled me with respect and care. So Cal Ornamental scheduled an appointment with me today at 4:30 on September 22nd and never showed and never called very bad customer service do not use this company.

Manny is truly a man of his word. He did everything he promised in the contract. His work is beautiful with amazing quality. He was easy to work with and made sure I was happy with the results. His team are throughout and skilled. It was a pleasure working with him and he exceeded my expectations.

Needed a driveway gate fabricated so I called and left message… crickets for an entire week. I called again, left another message and received a call back 2 days later – 2 more days. They left a message explaining they are very busy. I went with another company who came out immediately, gave me a written bid 3 days later and we are proceeding with them.

Well, unfortunately I have to change my rating. A year ago I had this company install a fence and gates on our back patio. The installation came out pretty good. Unfortunately, after a few months a set of gates began to sag. Contacted Manny, the owner, as I wanted them to be reset. In addition, we had another job we wanted them to do. Manny and his Dad came out, measured for the other job. He informed me that he would send me the bid and, when they came out, they would correct the sagging gates. I waited for one month and, after not hearing back, called and left a message. Did not get a response so called again and left another message. Two months later left yet another message. No response. Today …one year later….another metal company (Fences R’ Us) came out for a job that we wanted done. While they were here I showed them the sagging gate and they repaired it on the spot. The lack of follow through by So Cal Ornamental Gates was quite frustrating, prompting a lower rating.

Manny and his team did an excellent job with our security doors/gate. Excellent quality and workmanship. Turnaround time was about 5 weeks which was quick because the other company I had gotten an estimate from was about 2 months. We highly recommend.

I live in the high desert where it’s hard to find any contractor to be reliable, responsible and reasonable. I had hire someone who portrayed himself as a professional for replacing two gates. After much disappointment, only had one done. I found So Cal online and checked reviews. Finally restored my faith ! Manny showed up on time, when scheduled. Did I mention my gate looks awesome! They certainly take pride in their work, how refreshing is that. Catherine
