Humboldt Fence sold and installed a barbed wire fence on a residential street in Mckinleyville on Hawkes Rd. They should’ve known better.

Fence workers lack quality and knowledge. Had to make sure work was up to par throughout the project. Communication just lacked. You really have to tell both fence builders and lady at the office what was going on. Ive used them years before when it was just the brothers. Seems like they’ve expanded more than they can handle.

Unlike some reviewers who didn’t get calls returned or people not showing up for estimates, I had a great experience with this company. They came out to do the estimate when it was scheduled. I received the estimate within several days and booked the job. The ladies at the office were easy to contact, were polite, and helpful. There was a slight delay on scheduling and they communicated this clearly with me. The job was done in several days over a week’s span and cost exactly what the estimate was. They installed a nice 8 foot tall chain link fence with privacy slats and a 6 foot high by 7 foot wide gate of the same material. They hauled away all the material of the old wood fence that had failed. Thanks!

I had agreed to an estimate. I agreed to have the project done by them. They said they were booked for 2 months out. 2 months went by. I call every couple days just to have some snooty rude receptionist say I make the schedules and I will call you when I make a schedule for you.” She never calls. I am still waiting, by the way, for a phone call to get a start date. Absolutely abhorrent scheduling. Fire that lady and get somebody much more suitable for that office. Apparently her efficiency is simply non-existent.
