Todd was extremely friendly, very helpful, and very knowledgeable. Had a gas line installed so that I could get a gas stove. Very professional. Pricing was within range of typical.

$182 per hour for labor??? We had a plumber come to install our faucet in our kitchen. We got new counter tops and sink and needed our faucet installed. What was supposed to be a one hour job became almost 4 hours because of issues with parts and included multiple trips to the hardware store. Final bill-$873.58 of which $728 was labor. We have never paid that much for labor for a plumber. Lesson learned. If we ever need another plumber, we will go somewhere else.

I can say enough!!….I’m in Hartford suffering from a flare up of ulcerative colitis and mostly bedridden , my water heater was going and I had a tub leak both are my saving grace in a flare…I called on a Monday immediately spoke with a person unlike other places I called long story short they got me scheduled for Tuesday morning with a quote for the water heater out the door and a ballpark for the leak. Guy was out here in the morning (one guy) he was out in a couple hours everything taken care of with a quote being right on the money could not have been happier.

I had a clogged kitchen sink. I called early morning and they were able to send a service person within an hour. He was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. He had to snake the drain pipe and did so within 30 minutes. Very good service, I will use them again if the need arises. He also made some suggestions to avoid future problems.

Over the past 6 months I have contracted out Joe Debelak Plumbing & Heating for both a plumbing job and a heating job. They were excellent on both occasions. The plumbing job happened this past summer. I found that I had a clog in my main cleanout that was causing some issues in my basement. I had talked with other companies and had them come and look. They used guesses and best effort ideas to try and diagnose my issue. I then was told to contact Joe Debelak plumbing. Upon doing so they sent out Todd to my house promptly. He used a litany of tools including a locator to discover that there was a broken pipe underneath my utility room floor. He located the exact spot of the break in the pipe and even helped diagnose that the city had run a water line through my sewer pipe (*facepalm*). After correctly diagnosing the problem Todd offered the solution of breaking up the concrete in my utility room and swapping out the pipe in the specific area where the break was. He executed this job excellently. He was prompt, efficient, professional and fixed the issue for an extremely fair price. I could not have been more pleased. Fast forward to 4 days ago. My boiler went out and I lost all heat to my house. I called Joe Debelak and Matt the HVAC manager came to my house that same day to diagnose my issue. I told him that I had a mini split system that had heat pumps so this wasn’t something urgent to have replaced but would need to be done relatively soon. Later that same day the mini splits stopped working (*facepalm*). I called Matt back and asked if we could increase the urgency as I no longer had any heating options to my house. Matt was at my house Monday afternoon, the quote for the boiler was drawn up and agreed upon Tuesday morning, and thankfully there was a crew arriving at my house Wednesday morning to begin to work. Led by Doug and another top boiler tech that I cannot remember the name of they dove right in and completed the work early thursday morning. Doug was excellent. He knew his stuff spent extra time explaining to me the changes he made to my system. Not only did they replace my boiler but they replaced the piping that it relied upon to hopefully increase the life of the new boiler. They went above and beyond to not only restore heat to my house but to give me a much greater shot at never having to worry about this again thanks to the additional configurations they added to this new setup. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for them moving me to the front of the line to restore heat to my house during the winter months. I would recommend Joe Debelak and specifically Doug and Todd for any plumbing or HVAC job you might have.

We had several pipes in our hydronic heating system burst during the snowstorm in January, due to losing power for three days. We used DeBelak for the repair work, and couldn’t have been happier with the service that D provided. It took him three visits to fix everything due to pipes being frozen, but he was always sure to alert us of when he’d be arriving, he was very courteous and personable, and always explained what he was doing and why. All around, it was a great experience. Due to the positive first impression, we used DeBelak again two weeks later for an unrelated plumbing issue. Caleb demonstrated the same professionalism and friendliness as D did. Again, I appreciated the advance notice of arrival time, demonstrated knowledge of the repair work he was doing, and clear explanation of the issue and how it would be resolved. We are proceeding with additional plumbing work in the near future, and will be putting our trust in DeBelak to complete those services as well. Thank you for an all-around positive experience with your team!

We needed some product warranty work done. Joe DeBelak Plumbing was assigned by the company to perform the work order. Todd was sent out to complete the work. He was polite, professional, knowledgeable and paid great attention to detail. He spent the time to listen and answer our questions. He fixed our problem. I feel like he went above and beyond to address our concerns. Truly, top notch. I would highly recommend Joe DeBelek Plumbing. It’s reassuring to know that there are still great companies left out there.
