I contacted Nelson’s for a quote on a new heat pump. Even though it was almost 100 degrees outside and I told him he shouldn’t do it, the technician (Willie) went up into the attic (where it was probably 130 degrees) so he would know for sure the type and size heat pump that would be required. While up there, he found a problem that was unrelated to the size and type of heat pump, and told me how to get it fixed. He was a real professional, and truly did a super job with his analysis of my cooling system. I am very, very happy with his work.

I called in for service at 3:30pm on a Saturday with a non-functioning outdoor compressor. The guys showed up at 7:30 and had it fixed by 8:30. They also diagnosed a need for some more coolant. I paid a bit more than I’d like but it was a quick turn on a weekend during the scorching hot/humid July days so it’s worth it. Also loved that they used the opportunity to help train up a new apprentice. We need more people going into the trades!

We had our system installed at the end of April. The owner, Nelson came to the house and after inspecting and taking measurements explained what system would be best for us, since we were also having our entire ducks . His team did a great job during the install and their follow up after instal was excellent. I would definitely recommend Nelson in his team to anyone that is looking to replace their HVAC.
