Huge kudos to BL James & Son for a professional, timely and superb installation of our new AC and furnace during a very hot July. They were able to respond quickly, provided us an installation timeline within 1-2 days of quote estimate, and worked hard to make sure that happened. They promised the job would be done same day and it was done in less than a day with a polite, efficient, extremely knowledgeable and friendly crew of techs. Aaron and Bill James came out during the job, making sure everything was moving along properly, and Jorge and Jose provided end of service details and instructions and answered all of our questions AND went above and beyond when they volunteered to go to a supply store to make sure we had the proper filters for the furnace unit. That put BL James & Son over the top in my opinion. Fair pricing, wonderful team, and left us feeling like our comfort and satisfaction as a customer mattered as much as our business. We highly recommend them for any of your HVAC needs!

Michael called ahead to let us know he could arrive early, which we were grateful for. He communicated well and explained how he was unclogging the drain, and provided useful tips to avoid and treat the clogged drain in the future. Michael was very pleasant and if we had another plumbing issue, we’d be happy to use his services again.

Tom was professional and communicated well. He was running early so called to see if I was available. He explained the problems he was seeing and provided options, clearly detailing the associated prices. The job was completed quickly. I will always call BL James for my hvac.

BL James and Son are PHENOMENAL!!! First of all, they are TRUSTWORTHY. Exceptional customer service. They can fix anything. They have been maintaining my Arlington house since 2003. Last week, I had an emergency plumbing weekend after hours issue that they fixed in an hour. This week, I had a gas leak. They came out for an emergency visit during a winter snowstorm to fix the job. They do the same with heating, AC, plumbing, electrical. There are benefits to being a longtime customer during a time when other contractors can be a real drag, these guys are the very best. On time, professional, smart, common sense, family business, ethical.

NOT A 24 HOUR SERVICE. We waited all night for a call during an HVAC emergency. When we called back after an hour the receptionist said that they would follow up, that the response time is generally 1 hour. NO ONE CALLED US BACK. Find someone who’ll care more than BL James.
