Had Copeland out a couple of weeks ago to look at my unit that was freezing up and they told me I had an obstruction in the coil and my unit would need to be rebuilt at a cost of $7,300. This is at least a 14-15 year old unit and I’ve never heard of rebuilding one. I asked for a quote on a new unit and the tech called the office and I was quickly quoted over $21,000 for a 5 ton. I had another appointment scheduled for the next day and they came out and put a couple of lbs of coolant in to fix the immediate problem and the unit worked fine. I received a quote from them for a very reputable brand, 5 ton unit for $9,000. Have since had that installed by the other company and very pleased. I think Copeland used to provide quality work but I’d definitely get a second opinion.

I tried several different HVAC & plumbing companies before I found Copeland & sons -they have helped us out on several accasions – replacing all 3 of our 20+ year old AC systems, they have replaced all the old copper plumbing pipes that were corroding, and they have repaced 2 water heaters. I trust their work, they are always courteous & respectful. they are the epitome of a quality family-run business. They know my name when I call & Nathan and Ryan who have completed the majority of my service needs never leave without asking if there is anything else they can do. And they mean it.
