Late June of 2024. 95-97 degrees outside and our air conditioning goes out. Called Alsup’s heat and air and that afternoon they sent a tech to our house. They quickly found the issue and helped us with the warranty process because out of pocket the part was not cheap. The part was ordered and when it arrived they quickly sent a tech out and the Air conditioner was back in working order. We are very thankful and happy about the fast response and personal care they showed to us. If I could give them 12 stars I would. Great business and great people. Local too.

I called them today at 1:45pm. They came from thirty minutes away, diagnosed, and replaced our blower motor for $425 out the door. I had paid and they were gone before 3:00pm. Both techs were super friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate their good price, but the service was the best I’ve had of any “service type call” I have ever made. This place is awesome!

I really hate to leave a bad review, but feel it is necessary after our recent experience with Prentice Alsup. We had someone come out on Friday after our breaker continuously tripped. He stated nothing was wrong at all and they would bill me for the $85 service call fee. He ended up having to come back out after my dad spoke with Trey and he replaced the breaker. Never came back in to check the thermostat after. The final charge for that visit was $215. Fast forward to Tuesday night, we were still having issues with the heat and had to call them out again on Wednesday morning. They have now sent me a second service call fee of $85 despite just being at our house 5 days prior. I called to discuss this with the office and the lady on the phone offered a $20 credit and didn’t care to listen to what I had to say about the thermostat not being reprogrammed on Friday when he was at my house. I feel we should not have to pay again as this would not have happened if everything was checked properly on Friday. They say they do not charge for re-calls, but that is clearly not the case. Stay far away from this company as they will try to get as much money out of you as possible. Edited to add: the nest was installed in 2020 and you guys replaced our unit in January 2021. Why was this not mentioned then? Or the past 3 times your company has been out over the past week and when you had to come out last year when we were having the same issues? This has been the worst customer service I have ever experienced and will never use this company again. I will also be sure to tell everyone I know to stay away as well. It saddens me that my family has referred so many people over the years, but that will not be the case any longer. Oh and forgot to mention, the breaker box was broken by the first service tech that came out (literally, the door was laying on the ground) and the breaker was replaced with a USED breaker. This company is extremely shady and money hungry.

I was not comfortable with switching my system to the propane during the extreme cold last week until I had it checked. I called Prentice Alsup, they sent Daniel out and got me going! Their promptness, professionalism and kindness is what has made me a life long customer! Thank you for making me feel at ease!

I woke up to a cold house on Thanksgiving morning. I called Prentice Alsup and they came out promptly to get my heat going! They are always very friendly, professional, great service and good prices. Thankful for Bo’s amazing customer service!!

They tried to scam us. Unplugged the red wire that gives power to the compressor. That says SO much! They cannot be trusted.

On a blistering summer afternoon my unit stopped working. Thermostat got up to 86° inside. Called PA the next morning and they had sent someone over within 2 hours. Turns out we had a broken blower motor; the serviceman (Bo) said it could be a few days before they got the part in. Bo came back after an hour and said he had found a motor for us! He was very professional and took great care of us! Would recommend 10/10!
