I feel ripped off. Just canceled my FamPlan after poor service and response. Had a loud roaring noise w/AC and 2 techs came out for 2 calls only to say “no problem” . Another company pulled the panel off and error codes were flashing red. Motor problems that led to failure. I can’t get Choates to refund the service call fee that was paid! Very poor service and response.

We have been trying to get Choates to fix my dad’s a/c for 7 weeks. They have gone out there numerous times, charged a fee every time (he has now paid in the thousands) and NEVER fixed it. He’s in his late 70’s and hasn’t had air conditioning for almost 2 months. We’ve been more than patient. I finally got a manager to call me back, who said he’d personally go out and fix it, and instead, a young technician showed up this morning and still didn’t fix it. I believe if my dad were younger, this wouldn’t be happening, which just isn’t right.

Lied about having a part in stock. Said it was in stock but when they went to get it, it was not in stock. Really seems like some purchasing agent decided not to do his job and then looked to blame the tech, the customer, the ‘rona..anything other than owning his lie of having the part in their warehouse but then not having it. Not fake, my service was for my commercial space on Madison. I dont want my actual personal information on google. But this sort of attitude towards customers is why I m glad I didn’t keep trying to deal with Russel at Choates. He uses lies when cornered on doing a sub par job.

I have nothing, but positive things to say about my experience today. Hottest day and a/c went out. Patrich Banks was sent out & truly saved our day. Super polite, knowledgeable & found a couple of issues that he was honest about & helped resolve. His integrity & workmanship is hard to find nowadays and I commend him. Ac is working now & I’ll always rely on Choates to make things right.

I have only 3 words for Choate’s HVAC. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. Charles Craig was our salesman and was exceptional in his knowledge, personality, and professionalism. He represents the company extremely well. I would say the same about the lead installer, Jorge ( pronounced George ), very skilled and capable. He was patient with my questions and also represented the company and his profession very well. His crew of David and Porter were steady workers and did a great job. Tim, the electrician, Brandon, the plumber, and Scott, the roof vent guy all made a good impression. I can’t say enough good things about how well this job was handled from start to finish! Do not use this company under any circumstances it doesn’t matter which location. They all suck and will price gouge you like no other. You will pay 3-4 times the cost of any service in comparison to any other company. Dont believe me? Get 2-3 other estimates first and you will see for yourself. You will save thousands by not using this pathetic price gouging company.

First experience with Choate’s Plumbing – Very Positive. Dealing with a main line sewer line blockage issue. Technician Dallas A – great service / professional / knowledgeable / timely / informative. Choate’s drain clearance special made this not only a positive experience but also a very reasonably priced one as well. Will call upon them again.
