Recently had the heat pump go out in the condo that I own in Medford. My 86 year old mom lives there so it was critical that we get heat restored in the condo. Everyone that my mom and I talked to were outstanding. They were able to slot the time for installation of the new unit in a matter of days. I was thrilled. They went above and beyond to get the work done as quickly as possible. The technicians were very respectful and kind to my mom while there and got the job done in one day. My mom and I are very pleased with performance of the new unit and are expecting savings on the electric bill, too. I would highly recommend.

Not installed correctly as told by my new company that has to fix their work. Much more to say but if I could give zero stars I would. Read the negative reviews. Basically that was my experience also. Zero ethics. ( costly me THOUSANDS of dollars to fix their incompetence)

I have waited a while to do this review, a couple of years since Nathan installed our new heating/air system. I wanted to make sure I was fair in this review. At first we were very satisfied with the work and cost. Since then, if possible, would now rate a 0 if I could. The First problem was we also used them to do annual maintenance and some fixes, we had the most unprofessional service rep come and he 100 percent lied about my wife just asking questions about the work and systems. He claimed we were rude and critical of his work, they then said they would no longer come to our home and service our systems. That now explains why, in the last couple of years we have spent over $3000 fixing problems due to the systems installation was completely done wrong. We have had to change how it drains to how each unit was installed on the walls. When they did come out we would ask questions, how something would work or not or when fixing something asking why they did it that way. Not getting into details this company completely fails in customer relations, installation, follow up on issues or guarantees. If my wife wants to ask simple questions she should be able to and get reasonable answers. We also were treated by office people in the most disreptfull manor. They wouldn’t return calls, we left messages and had no idea what was going on, actually thought they went out of business. I suggest anyone look very hard at anyone else, even if your desperate. That is my warning to you. There are plenty of other service companies out there so check them out before Nathan’s.

We recently bought a new home in Medford that has mini ducts in each room. We have lived here two months and had been using our ducts incorrectly as it was our first time with this type of heating. When they stopped working a chilly night this week Nathan Perry Heating & Air was our first call. They had a tech out within 24 hours of my request. Our maintenance tech Rob called when he was on his way, showed up on time, and was extremely professional. He made sure to diagnose the problem, explained to us the proper way to set the controls, and waited around to make sure the entire system rebooted and worked well. He also used the time waiting for the units to reset to show me how to clean the filters in the future. After he left he called me 5 hours later just to make sure the units were still working well and nothing had changed. He was professional, courteous and kind. 5 stars for me!

I’ve had 2 experiences with them and each time they were polite and respectful of my home (Two different crews). Both times they were respectful of my homes and animals! Would recommend and refer a friend.

They arrived for a scheduled appointment to replace a heating unit that was not working. Nathan refused to wear a mask. We are a medical facility under the Oregon mandate to wear masks. This is not a choice we have, we could face fines and lose our license. They refused to wear masks, were unprofessional and left without completing the needed repair in January of 2023. It is disappointing that this company put their personal beliefs before the health and well-being of medically fragile people who now are without heat until we can reschedule with another company.

Gentleman who came out was nice enough but seemed pretty conspiracy theory minded and was pretty adamant about avoiding Nest thermostats or smart thermostats in general. While I appreciate smart devices can introduce an Avenue/attack vector, I’m not sure the government is out hacking them as much as he implied. Other than this, I think he did fine. He did suggest 2x surge protectors for each HVAC motor and best I can tell, that’s about right. I’m not sure if there’s any advantage or cost savings by maybe doing a whole home surge protector. Anyway, he seemed to confirm all was well with my system, minus some lower pressures I guess due to a “restrictive” filter? He suggested more of an “accordion style” filter so it wouldn’t be as restrictive. I have read about that and that seems legit too. All in all, I would call this place again but working in IT, I’m not sure I believe his “advice” on smart thermostats. I felt that blurb was unprofessional.

Nathan Perry Heating and A/C came highly recommended but we got 2 other bids to replace and upgrade our HVAC system because we weren’t sure if highly recommended included competitive pricing. Turns out, they were the least expensive but that isn’t the main reason we’re glad we chose this company. The communication, timeframe and excellent customer service from start to finish was better than we could’ve imagined and the quality of the work and professionalism of the crew is probably why they came highly recommended. Thanks Walker, Eric, Chad and Jeff for the great job!
