Long story short, I called this company on a Sunday (After-Hours) after having issues with my A/C since Friday. After a conversation on the phone with Cole, the owner, I had mentioned to him before he came out on his service call that I may be low on Freon if not completely out. He came out and without even trouble shooting the leak advised that filling with Freon may or may not fix the problem. He filled my system up without even attempting to look for the leak and charged $150/lb of Freon (410A). This was extremely way overpriced if I would have known. Other local HVAC contractors charge $80-100/lb. With that being said my A/C worked for less than 24hrs. What a waste of $1k+. After speaking on the phone with other local contractors they had said they would have not given me a choice to fill my system before looking for the leak. I am extremely disappointed with Cole and his company and how he operates. This is an unacceptable business practice. I would not recommend this company.

From Joey, the owner, to the receptionist/dispatcher, everyone has been professional, friendly, experienced and knowledgeable. We woke up on Wednesday (2/13/19) morning to a burning smell coming from our air vents. So we shut our system off and started to stress-out about finding someone reliable, honest and reasonably priced to come diagnose our 23+ year old heat pump. I called Dudley Heating & Air and spoke with Cole Dudley. He took my call at 8PM and squeezed me into his schedule for the next day. Cole came over on Thursday after installing new HVAC systems all day and had our failed blower motor diagnosed in 5 minutes. He ordered the part the next day (Friday) and he came out this afternoon (Monday 2/18/19) to install the new motor. Cole was friendly, knowledgable and we received excellent service for a very reasonable price. Dudley Heating & Air also offers a yearly maintenance plan which covers two service visits per year and filter replacement on each visit.
