I may have reviewed RS Mechanical previously and will happily do it again. RS Mechanical consistently exceeds my expectations. My first experience was with technician Hurley and I’ve requested him ever since as he is thorough, professional, and courteous. He makes sure that each job is completed to the absolute best standards and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my complete satisfaction. RS Mechanical is top notch and the work to earn your business over and over again. Well done!! **Update 6/21/2021** I’m removing a star as they’ve recently changed their policy and are no longer allowing to schedule with the technician that we’ve requested and had service our units for multiple years now. **Update 7/18/2022 I’m becoming increasingly disappointed with RS Mechanical. The previous maintenance has left my upstairs unit running less efficiently than before. My thermostat could be faulty, but timing is suspicious. One of the technicians forgot to turn on the power leading to the condenser units and didn’t realize until my house was almost 80 degrees. The technician tried to say the circuit tripped. I’m considering not renewing my maintenance with them and finding another company. **Update 2024** I realize now that the decline in service was a prelude to the eventual sale to 6&Fix. R&S Mechanical of old days was the best in my experience and that’s how I choose to remember them.

i never got services from yall but one of your work trucks just rode so closely to me all the way up 210 i thought they were going to hit me. it was so bad that i had to leave a review, some of y’all’s techs need to take a driving course.

I have used R&S and now 6&Fix for over 15 years. Sandy and his team are honest, ethical and always bring solutions for our business refrigeration and HVAC needs. I appreciate their willingness to find the root of a problem vs just putting a band aid on it. Thankful to have a partner in 6&Fix.

Sandy was very professional and did a great job getting one of our AC units repaired in a timely manner. I have all 9 units on my property being serviced every 6 months with R & S Mechanical/6 & fix HVAC. I highly recommend them for their professional and responsive services!

Kinda rude for one of the head people to hang up mid sentence. It’s cool though! Technician came out and did a good job not 1 but 2 capacitors after finding the switch wasn’t plugged in all the way hmmm. Weird don’t ya think? But he showed up and the dude was cool but for the girl in the office who had the nerve to hang up while I was still speaking (people like you are the problem in this world) ac is working now which is all that matters.

I called RS Mechanical for service about 2pm, found out they merged with 6&Fix. They had a tech out by 630, who ran a diagnostic on my AC and discovered the issue and was able to find out my unit was still under warranty from RSM. Carter was friendly and very informative each step of the way 👍 *********update****** Closing in on two weeks since initial call and still waiting on 6&F to get their hands on the part needed. Not fixed yet

Years ago when I started with R&S for maintenance I was satisfied. I purchased two new units 3 years ago but have had many issues. When attempting to renew my maintenance agreement, the new guy, who I assume is with 6 & Fix, wouldn’t honor the two unit agreement I’ve had in place since the beginning. At my request, he said he would check with a manager and promised a call back the following day. It’s been two weeks, no return call. I’ve contacted York directly and have taken my business elsewhere.

They installed our new HVAC system and the work was done very well and quickly. They actually charged several thousand dollars less than the other companies we called. They have a 10 year warranty on their systems and we have them on a service contract to maintain our system every Spring and Fall. We are very pleased with this company and highly recommend them.

Shedrick has been very informative and done a great job with our HVAC maintenance plan we have with them. He has looked into any concerns we have had and offered solutions. He went above and beyond with some education on changing out our thermostats at our most recent visit. They always give good notice as well when their technicians are on the way.
