My central air-conditioning system died this morning and it was projected to be close to 100° today. I contacted AWS and they were fantastic. They were able to come the same day and repaired the unit quickly, efficiently and reasonably. The technician was a great guy and offered me a ton of advice on proper maintenance and care of the system.

Had 2 split units installed with one compressor. From the start, Bing was very pleasant and professional with his in home presentation. Everything was explained clearly. Install went very smooth. Neat and very pleased with the install team. Highly recommended! Very fair pricing too. So much better and quieter than old in wall units

Billy Leary (Manager)!! Mariano! Willy! TJ! Bing! We did oil to gas conversion and added AC unit Water heater Gas range and the whole deal. Bing was our salesperson. He was professional and had good knowledge. We placed the order in December 2022. After a long wait the job was actually performed in March 2023. From Day 1 I had issues with the person working on the HVAC system. I was extremely unhappy with the job and consistently kept requesting for someone to come over and review. I don’t want to give names, but it was not a good experience till I met Billy and his team. After multiple calls and emails they got Billy Leary involved and he came over to see me on time. As soon as he saw the work, first thing he did was apologized on behalf of AWS and one by one we went our multiple issues in the job. He brought in Mariano and Willy. This team was pleasure to work with. Mariano did a fantastic job. Often ran in to hurdles due to what was left for him to fix by the previous person. Mariano and Willy with their help did such a great job that I didn’t even imagine would look so good after what i experienced earlier. Billy’s guidance and the team’s skill set made up for yearlong sleepless nights and aggravation. T.J did a great job with water heater plumbing. The person who messed up the job apparently messed up a few other projects and then got fired. I want to thank Billy for making it right on behalf of AWS. First 2 pictures are after and the next 4 are before. Job completed on 2/2/2024 with full satisfaction.

My situation was… unique to say the least. It took 8 or 9 visits to fully rectify the issue with my 10 year old mini-splits. They went above and beyond, even bringing the manufacturer in to help troubleshoot the issue (again, a very unique and mysterious situation). I absolutely can’t fault them for having to return so many times, but I do commend them on their persistence to help me out.

UPDATE: they are removing bad reviews on Google! Check Yelp where they cannot do that, and their rating is 2.4 stars there. That’s what they deserve. They nickel and dime for their own mistakes. So they were doing a repair in my house, replaced my dryer air duct pipe, and forgot to connect it back. When I inquired, they said it’s very simple, and I can do it myself. I looked at that new pipe and it didn’t even match the diameter of my dryer’s exhaust pipe. In response they said it would cost extra to change that new pipe.

This was our second experience with AWS. They provided such a great experience that we came back for more. From our first phone call asking for an estimate to our post installation questions, they were prompt, professional and a pleasure to work with. The office staff returned phone calls, emails and texts with lightning speed and courtesy. The installers were very neat and explained everything that they were going to do. If they had a question about placement, we were consulted. We highly recommend AWS and were so happy that we chose them again.

I was connected to this company via Home Depot. While everyone can have a different experience my own dealing with AWS was pretty good. The gentleman who provided the estimate (for privacy I will omit names) was very knowledgeable and professional. He provided clear information and means of continued communication. The office personnel with whom I interacted was also very professional. The crew who installed the equipment was also very professional and courteous. They did a good job with the installation and cleaned up very well after the work was completed. I have experience in HVAC and so far it looks good, now I will follow up in the future but I do hope the equipment is reliable. I do have one thing to note. If you want to have an installation done in the middle of the summer, keep that in mind, it will extend the time it takes to get it installed or dates available to have it done. Everyone else is also looking for services from installation to maintenance at the same time. I did have to move my installation date around a bit so it took longer than I wanted and I had one small miscommunication problem with the service department/installation to but I also understood it is the summer and many other people are purchasing and installing or having maintenance on their A/C. Please note I do recommend them. They also provided options to make it more affordable and I am sure if you hire them they will provide the same options I have. You will not be disappointed.

We Hired AWS plumbing for central air installation. The team lead by Billy did a great job, the guys were curteous and profesional. The team covered the floors throughout the house during installation and cleaned at the end of each day. We will use their services in the future and recommend the company to other friends.

At the beginning of the year, I started researching companies they could perform an oil to gas conversion at my home. I needed to replace a very old heating system(from 1955)! I interviewed approximately 10 different companies and received estimates from all. I was most impressed with AWS Plumbing and Heating. From the initial contact and estimate through to the completion of the heating system installation, staff at AWS was courteous, professional and very detail-oriented. The entire process was very organized. Everything was explained and put in writing. Once the first deposit was paid and the contract was signed, a project manager was assigned. A “walk-through” a few weeks before the job was going to be started was scheduled so that any planning/assessment of how the job would be handled could be worked out in detail(Ordering equipment, filing permits, scheduling Town of Hempstead inspections). AWS took care of everything and paid great attention to every aspect of the job! The job itself took two days. The first day consisted of removing all of the old heating equipment and removing(draining and cutting up)the oil tank from my basement. Everything went smoothly! Every member of the team knew exactly what they were doing; they worked very well together! Powell and Edison did the actual plumbing of new gas lines and installation of a new hot water heater and new gas boiler. Brian was assigned as the “project manager”. The office staff at AWS knew exactly what was going on at all time. If I called on the phone with a question, I was always able to speak to someone either then or someone would get back to me a few hours later. Once the job was completed, Powell and Edison made sure that the equipment was up and running before they left. Some of the radiator valves needed to be bled and they took care of that as well! I now have an entirely new heating system thanks to AWS! I could not be happier with the quality of the work! I would recommend AWS Plumbing and heating for anyone considering this type of job!
