It’s disrespectful to come into peoples’ homes and overcharge them for services that are incomplete. Now we have had to pay more money for another company to finish the job. Way to go!!

Truly spectacular experience! We came home to find that our A/C system had failed and our house was boiling hot. I called Redding’s this morning and they were able to send out a technician (Mike B.) first thing. Mike B. quickly diagnosed the problem (the blower fan was broken) and ordered a new part, being careful not to overpromise on delivery time. Neal, who handles parts for Redding’s, was miraculously able to procure the part the very same day, and Mike B. was able to come back that afternoon to install it. Redding’s exceptional service spared us from potentially having to suffer from weeks of our home being uninhabitable due to A/C failure (not to mention associated hotel costs, dog boarding, etc). This was the best experience I’ve had with an A/C contractor in the multiple decades I’ve lived in Princeton — really amazing.

Lack of words to describe this place. ZERO ZERO ZERO customer experience. The owner, Kelley is TERRIBLE. The issue: I was told on the phone, the initial consultation is “Free”. Fast forward, a very good plumber consulted and said I will be charged. I said it was a “free” consultation and he said that he would chat with his office and get back. Fair enough. He came back and said that I would still need to pay. So, I called the office back and I get transferred to Kelly. This woman barely hears me out and says “I’ll call the Police if you don’t pay up”. I couldn’t believe what I just heard. She thinks people in Princeton can’t afford $100? Unbelievable. If you’re looking for customer service, this is NOT the place. Even if there was a misunderstanding, this is absolutely no way to talk to customers. Business 101. Thankfully I’m not the only person to have this opinion. No more business. This is why Customer service matters over everything else. People matter. I learnt a good lesson about business today, treat people right, hear them out and always learn to work things out without bullying! Another learning – if someone threatens you to call the police, please ask them to call the cops. Don’t entertain bullies and terrible companies. We’re highly educated people and don’t want to ever put up with such disrespectful people. Edit After Response: The RO appointment scheduled was not for installation but to consult if it’s possible to install. All the conversations that have been mentioned is with the plumber and not with customer. Note: The plumber was good. No apology was offered by Kelly or any mention of “misunderstanding” was made. People who are looking to install 10k+ worth softeners and RO systems don’t bother much about $15/$20 discounts. I’ve never raised my voice or written such detailed reviews before but not speaking up about this seems almost criminal. At this point it’s less about the cost of installation, consultation or anything else. It’s about integrity and treating customers right. I’m sorry that I had to deal with this today. Mike K did excellent work rerouting and rebuilding basement plumbing and repairing a loose toilet. He took the time to explain his work, taught me some maintenance that I could do on my own, and alerted me to a potential long term issue with the 100+ year old plumbing in my home. I will definitely call Reeding’s again if I need more plumbing.

Their service is always solid and prompt. Very happy to use them on a regular basis for our steam heat (Josh) and AC with Mike B. Highly recommend.

I had a fantastic experience working with Redding’s and I could not recommend them more highly. Christian in the office was kind, helpful, and scheduled service quickly. Kyle arrived on time and was knowledgeable, thorough, and really went above and beyond to explain everything clearly to me. The pricing was fair and transparent.

They changed 1 hour and 45 minutes to replace the toilet valve and gave a bill of $430. They are either dishonest or pretty bad in their job.

Our dual zone central air unexpectedly died, and Redding’s were fantastic replacing it. The sales person Mike Brooks explained everything that needed to be done. There was no high pressure sales talk, just straight forward explanations, about equipment choices and prices. The estimate was fair and there were no hidden costs. The work started far sooner than I expected and John and Devon the engineers were fantastic. They and Mike were friendly and went far beyond my expectations. We barely knew they were in the house. Everything was done efficiently and without any mess. The work was excellent, we are so pleased with the new units. We would recommend Redding’s to anyone looking for quality work. They are a great company.

We had a great experience with Eric, who came out to fix a leak under our bathroom sink. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and fixed everything quickly. We were very happy with our service and would use Reddings again for future plumbing needs.
