i hired Lou to replace furnace and condenser last year he told me he would be on the job but after weeks of broken appointments and excuses he sent some other people to do the job they only installed the furnace and after literally months of more excuses and lies the summer came around and we had no condenser which meant no a/c i wound up hiring someone else to finish the job and sueing Lou and Lane Mechanical because i had paid in full ofcourse Lou never showed up to court

DON’T USE LANE MECHANICAL. In good faith I paid in full to fix my furnace / AC and I’ve been chasing him to complete for 6 months. Multiple no show appts and does not replay to phone / text.

Lane Mechanical is my heating / cooling expert in NJ. A few years ago, they came on a Sunday to replace my very old AC that failed. After that positive experience I asked them to convert my electric heat to gas heat. The heat bill went down tremendously and the new system also replaced the old water heater with a very efficient tankless waterheater. Louis and his team have been taking care of all the service needs in a cost effective manner. He always provides solutions without trying to sell you new things. Thank you Louis & Lane Mechanical for your professional and excellent service.

I just moved to the area and was eager to have my dryer hooked up as soon as possible. I needed a gas line connected as well. Lou was extremely busy in the height of summer business but he made the time to come as soon as possible. The next day he followed up to make sure all was well. Very prompt and professional, I will recommend highly.

Dishonest pieces of trash. The owner Louie would rip off anyone and I’m sure he does. Look elsewhere if you want someone honest

We have had nothing but problems with the hvac system Lane put in our home. Our new furnace Lane mechanical installed was faulty and had to be replaced, which after numerous calls spanning over months was eventually replaced. Now the new system Lane installed does not work properly and the heat does not get above 62 degrees. We have called the company numerous times for a service call, as per our contract we have 5 years parts and labor on the system. The company has been totally unresponsive and our heat still isn’t working properly. Lane is good to come out and replace a system for thousands of dollars, however, they DO NOT stand by their warranty. Better Business Bureau lists this company as no longer in service, so there is no remedy through BBB.

Lane Mechanical says that they stand by their work and if you have a problem, they will be there. However, when there is an issue, they claim not to have anyone available. There have been multiple issues, most recently, the owner advised us to contact another company to make emergency repairs since our heater stopped working during a weekend of extreme cold temperatures. He said that he would cover the costs if we could get someone because he was short handed. Since that time, I have submitted the receipt electronically and in the mail. I have also made several attempts to contact him with no response.
