This is the second time that Tonna tried to upsell me. This time, I called for service on an older AC that was not cooling. Brady, the technician, told me that the “dual cap imploded” and it was likely unfixable. Any repair efforts would cost 538 + 300. He suggested a new unit. He also told me that if I changed to a heat pump that I would need to change my furnace as well. And “I might as well, because my furnace is the same age as my AC.” Well, as they well knew, my furnace was only 3 years old. I had a different AC company come out and they got the AC working for $358.00. I get frustrated with Tonna with lies and upsell efforts. I rarely write reviews but, based on my experience, this is a regular technique that Tonna is using. Other repairmen have warned me that large companies like Tonna often get kickbacks on purchased products. Buyers beware!

Tonna showed up when and as promised for a plumbing inspection that is part of the perks for the Comfort Club. Kaleb Janssen was courteous, professional, and thorough. My last two inspections didn’t even come close! My bathroom faucet is now easy to use thanks to a quick part replacement that I didn’t even know was possible. Excellent work! I highly recommend!

I bought a Carrier 3 years ago from Tonna and it gave me a lot of problems over the course – the latest one was yesterday the sinusoid burned and took the contactor down with it. It was a very challenging problem and Kyle expertly debugged the issue (two nestd issues!). The other shining spot is Britanny – she worked with me and made the expensive repair (the part itself costs $200!) less painful. She is very helpful throughout the process. Kyle and Britanny is why I have been a Comfort Club member for the last five years!

I just love Tonna people. They are all so nice, and patient. Mike was great and gets 5 stars from me. While the original issue with my AC was an easy fix and not the AC unit at all, he went ahead with a check up of the unit. Turns out the capacitor was cracked and a bug got in it causing it to burn out. Mike was able to replace the capacitor right then, saving me from a potential loss of AC when the heat really cranks up next week.
