Based on my first experience, JD&S is the most reliable company I’ve ever worked with! Kept me well informed along the way! Brad (technician) and Amanda (office) are a pleasure, but the entire office is wonderful. Highly recommend for all your HVAC needs. I have a 2004 central ac unit that was in dire need of cleaning. I was informed, AFTER they came out for the 150 dollar charge, that it’s company policy they don’t touch older units. Thanks for nothing and charging me $150 bucks to boot! If it’s company policy not to touch older units, a respectable thing to do is ascertain what you have BEFORE bothering to send anyone out and wasting everyone’s time and my money.

The technician, Jose, arrived timely. The office had fitted me in after a cancellation. He assessed the problem, had to do with the emergency pressure relief valve, and determined that it MIGHT be the water storage tank. He left the boiler in a state that will enable him to confirm if the problem is the tank when he returns. He also confirmed with the office that the tank was covered under warranty, assuming that was confirmed as the source of the problem, and that I would only be responsible for labor costs. He was very thorough, professional and polite. Jay Dorsey and crew originally installed our gas heating/hot water system back in 1993, 1994, don’t exactly recall. Since then, there have been the usual repairs, replacements, etc. I have always been happy, comfortable, with the quality of their work.

Staff did a super job repairing a blocked drainage pipe under our kitchen sink. Joshua and Aiden were pleasant and professional. They cleaned up everything after the repair. Impressive! I’ll be sure to call again when we have a need.
