After dealing with a very bad scenario where another company essentially disabled my HVAC system, and pushed me to do several costly repairs without resolving the problem, Josh with J. Marin arrived at my home and discovered the problem within minutes. I had 4 different techs try to address this problem before this, and they got my system back up and running blowing cold air in about an hour. Highly recommend. They are honest and know what they’re doing.

When our Air Conditioning went out, not only did J answer our calls after hours, he showed up the next day and managed to replace the compressor the same day. Great service!

Heaven sent. My a/c hasn’t worked in months and everyone I called kept saying “ oh you need a new a/c” and they couldn’t fix it. I called this place for my a/c to be fixed last Tuesday. The gentleman who came out was very friendly and very fast. He came right in , checked my a/c and quickly diagnosed the problem. He said I needed parts for my a/c to get it up and running. I spoke to another gentleman on the phone and he told me that my parts should come by Friday. I really wasn’t expecting it to come Friday bc I know stuff happens but to my surprise the technician called that Friday and said he’s on his way and he has the parts. He came right in , fixed my a/c and when I say I haven’t felt my a/c blow this good in soooo long. I’m so grateful I chose this company to service me.

I needed a whole A/C system replaced. J. Marin gave me multiple options, explained each one, and installed a new system quickly and for the agreed upon price. In a business with a lot of bad actors, J. Marin is NOT one of them! I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I couldn’t be happier! Installed a brand new AC system, built a new platform for the outside unit, hired Miguel Lopez to cut into and replace and paint my wall in order to get the inside unit in/out, put in a stylish new thermostat, strapped ducts in the attic as I desired and also had a metal recycling guy collect the old unit pieces which makes me happy, not to mention I now know a metal recycling person. AC works fantastic so far. Mr. Marin and his crew are really great people and they explain everything to you in layman’s terms. Unbeknownst to the company, I’m an engineer and I can say they never tried to rip me off or upsell me anything that wasn’t necessary.

We found J. Marin Heating and Air through an internet search. We needed to replace an AC condenser and had already tried working with 3 other HVAC companies without success. They either failed to followup or gave us ridiculous quotes. J stopped by right away and presented us with several options, all at what I believe were very reasonable prices. We decided to go forward. His crew came within 2 days. J was on-site to supervise and make sure all was done safely and without any damage to our house or gutters. (The unit was on the roof). He and his crew were both friendly and professional. The unit is working as expected and we couldn’t be more satisfied.

I was so grateful for the professional service I received from J. Marin. Joshua the technician came for same day service and quickly diagnosed the problem – the unit needed two new fuses – and once he got the parts he fixed it. I never had this kind of problem before – so I can’t speak to whether the $461 fee was average for this – but I can absolutely say that I’d call them again for the professionalism and expertise the owner and technician showed!
