The guys were professional and showed up on time. During the walkthrough, I did have to point out several things they missed doing that were on the work order plus taping up some areas on the ductwork that had some big gaps where air was getting out. They completed those items and everything was fine. However they did take our old Nest thermostat and I had to call and ask for it back. The area was semi-clean when they were done. I had to vacuum and mop where they were working but I expected that. The AC unit itself is much louder than I expected which is very disappointing as I was told it would be quieter not louder than the old 26 year old unit it was replacing. The installation was fine, not bad by any means, but not outstanding hence the 3 stars.

Once again Polestar gave me the best ever service on my yearly ac maintenance! They checked and explained everything they were doing. I had a room that didn’t cool, they adjusted vents on my old house and voila….it’s cool now!!!!! I can’ t recommend this company enough!!!

I spent $1,000.00 on a leak test, refrigerant and a hard start. Two days later my unit is still running every 5 min and the tech came back and said my condensation pump tube is clogged. He didn’t have the tools or parts to clean it or replace it. I cleaned out my condensation pump myself. No one has returned to clean to tube or replace it. The manager did wait 2 days to call to say I needed a new pump and quoted me $1,600.00 then when I said my HVAC was just replaced 2 years ago he said they didn’t put in an appropriate sized pump. He didn’t offer me an exchange rate for my pump that is under warranty. When I said my air was still turning on every 5 min the manager said it’s because I need my new furnace’s coils blown out (it’s 2 yrs old). and he said I did have a leak, when the tech said I did not. He isn’t honoring my warranty for parts and my problem still exists with no help from polestar’s manager. I am very dissatisfied with my lack of service. I will be looking for a better heating and air company.
