Not a company I would recommend for Geothermal units. Unfortunately, after several trips they did not diagnose the problem correctly and did not identify several issues that were found by another company that actually fixed the problem.

We recently had an issue with our furnace and they sent a technician Ryan C to fix it at a very reasonable price. Coincidentally, Ryan was the same technician they sent last time which is ten years ago. I highly recommend AHC.

After another HVAC business added Freon to a leaking unit (and then the unit obviously wouldn’t work), I needed ASAP AC help, and Ames Heating & Cooling were there quick. They saw what needed to be done, and were able to expedite the work. They did a great job, were quick and clean. I would recommend them and look forward to working with them again.

My apartment recently requested service from them because my AC unit has been leaking. We had set out two towels and a bucket to catch the water dripping onto our floor. One of the towels is now missing and the other is ruined. The bucket has stuff stuck to the bottom as well. All will need to be replaced. Additionally the floor and the shower in the bathroom next to the AC unit were left a mess. I do not see how this is acceptable or professional. To make matters worse we were told that they will have to make another visit to replace a broken part. I am uncomfortable with them reentering my apartment.

Had our heater shut down last wed night before we got all the snow … I waited to call till 8 am to avoid emergency charges lol They where here to check it out within 25 mins !! Found the problem went to get the part heat within an hour whoop whop

AHC installed a new furnace and thermostat for me. They were able to get me a quote right away and had a crew there the next day to do an install. Very clean install. Great to work with. Highly recommend AHC.

Uncharged to much higher rates from the year before. We switched to Golden Rule for half the expense.
